I received this product from ChickAdvisor. From the three Scotch Essentials I received this was one of the most easiest one to use. Though it was effective and relatively simple, this was not a long term solution for my button problems. Since this was one of the first products I tried out of the three I was able to throw one of my shirts into the wash and see how the button fix would fair. It remained mostly intact but it wasn't as secure as before.
All in all this product is very useful for any quick fixes you need to make for the time being.
Thank you Chickadvisor for giving me the opportunity to review this product. It's an interesting concept but I am not really sold on this being a good fix. It's not able to handle larger buttons so I think this product has limited uses.
It would be good for small and light buttons on a blouse or cotton shirt. However, I feel like it doesn't take a lot of time to sew a button and would rather do that than fiddle with this temporary solution. Interesting idea but I prefer to go the old school route and just sew my buttons back on with needle and thread.
It would be good in case of emergencies if you lose a button at work and can't mend it right away but it's quite expensive for what it is.
I received this item for free for review. So, I don't sew. I took a class in high school and failed miserably, so this item was a godsend. My son cannot wear a button down shirt without at least 1 button flying off in his haste to take off his shirt. Normally, I would take it to my mother in law to fix it but this was really easy to use and so far, quite durable.
This product is great for all you busty girls! I always have problems with my blouse buttons because I have a larger chest so im constantly pooping the front buttons, these came in so handy easy fix at work
I gave this product to my husband to throw in his desk drawer at work. He always seems to loose buttons on his shirts and pants (then doesn't bother to tell me) so his clothes sit in a pile in his closet after he gets home from work. I figured at least if he can fix it himself until it can make its way to me then I can sew them back on properly. I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor and overall I was impressed. It did what it needed to do (hold the button on) until I could get it home to fix it. Great if you are in a pinch but overall not necessary if you have a needle and thread to fix it immediately... haha but most of us don't exactly just carry a needle and thread around in our purse. Each button stayed on for 2-3 washes which surprised me!
This is great to keep on hand for the working woman! Though I do find it a tad expensive for 4 pins, it definitely does what it says.
I have a lot of button blouses, and it stinks when you loose one during the day in the middle of your shirt (hello, look at my bra!), so this is a definite life saver for my attire!

I don't know what I was really expecting when thinking of the Easy Fix Button - but it wasn't this. The pin looks a bit industrial to me, but then again you don't have to worry about it not working. Easy - you couldn't get any easier than this though. It is ideal to have on hand for quick fixes on the go. It is something I would keep on hand while traveling. I would just swap out the buttons supplied, with buttons that match what I am wearing. Thankfully I do not wear that many buttoned shirts.
It is very pricey at $7.99 for 4 pins, 2 white (more clear) buttons and 2 grey (dark) buttons. If you can get more adhesive and keep reusing the pin - then it makes it more affordable.

I don't know how to sew. But i know how to reattach a button. It is pretty easy. I would say the Scotch Essentails Easy Fix Button is a quick fix you can keep at work when you don't have a sewing kit with you. It stayed in place very well and I wasn't afraid of it popping out.
I am not sure about purchasing this product in the futur as it is quite expensive for what it is.
I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor. I tested it on a shirt I didn't need a new button on and used one of the clear buttons for my test. It stuck quite well, but I didn't wear the shirt for the day, so only time will tell! I was very unsure of how this product would work before I opened the package. Because you stick your button onto the adhesive disk thing at the front of the pin, the shirt was not actually pulling on a taped button, but rather the pin itself. This made me feel much more confident that the button would stay. In the future, I likely will stay away from clear buttons. Anything but clear would look so much more inconspicuous. I will say that for $7.99/4 buttons, I would definitely not purchase this product myself. Sewing a button in a pinch would take much longer than applying the pin, but at $2+/pin, I can't justify this purchase.

I thought this was a good concept to fix buttons on the go. However it's not really practical in my opinion. I used it on my brother's shirt when his button fell out. It's super easy to use because I just press the pin through the shirt and stick a button on top. However, it looks super obvious when he puts the shirt back on, you could see there's a bump on the shirt because the pin is not flat. He also mention the shirt became uncomfortable when he wears it because he could feel the pin pressing on the skin. Overall I think it is helpful during emergency situation, I just wish that the pin can be flatter so it doesn't create the bump when it's use on a top.
