Love this! Gonna make sure I always have one on hand cause it's such a wonderful time saver for when your in a pinch! We all have had times when our hem has let loose at the worse possible time! I love the fact that it holds so well and that is so easy to use. I can't wait to give some of these as Christmas gifts! I know once people try this thrill love it as much as I do!

This is such a cool product! I don't own a sewing machine, so it can be a huge hassle for me when it comes to needing pants hemmed. This is a definite life changing product. how wonderful!

I received this product from ChickAdvisor to try out. These strips were very easy to use, and was way more simpler than actually stitching the hem. I have put my pants through one cycle of cold wash and so far they are still intact and looking as good as ever. I would totally recommend this product!

I received the Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips for free as a member of Chick Advisors product review club. I think it is such a genius product, its easy to use and best of all its permanent. I used this on my Halloween costume and it worked so well. I introduced this to my mom and she really likes it.

Had a pair of jeans I never hemmed as did not have time to get hemmed professionally and thanks to the sample finally hemmed them at home in under 10 minutes before work one day. If I would have known about the product a year ago I would have been wearing them all along!

I think this is a great product for people who don't sew or have time (or it takes forever) to take their stuff to a tailor (myself included). I see these hem bonding strips being a good solution. I used it to shorten a pair of pants that were a little too long and so far they are working well.

However, I am curious to see how well the stickiness lasts after several washes through the laundry machine.

I received this item for free to review. I love this! My pants have this bad habit of being too long. Apparently women can't have different length legs when they're a certain size. I have a pair of jeans that fit great in the waist but are, of course, too long. I don't sew, can't hem anything, and wouldn't even try with jeans. I love this product, easy to use and so far, quite durable. Saves me times having to take them to get done professionally or bug my mother in law to do it.

I received this product for free from Chick Advisor but I was surprised to see you get 30 strips for 7.99 - that seems like an incredible price. I actually tried this out on a blouse I had with cuffs that were too long. I was going to toss the blouse because the price to get it tailored outweighed the actually cost of the blouse - so I didn't have much to loose. I was so impressed how smooth of a hem this created and that it has stayed. I also tried these out on a pair of my husbands pants and they worked great. Not sure I would even bother going to a tailor to have pants hemmed now! Even basic jeans are at least $7.50 in my area and with this pack of strips I could hem many, many pants. WOW WOW WOW - I cannot believe that something so wonderful exists! If you are not a sewer, which I definitely am not (I don't even know how to turn a machine on) or don't have a machine available, this is for you. I really don't need this product for myself. I am one of the lucky ones that don't have to constantly hem new pants for being to long. Although it will be great to have on hand for the times that a hem is unraveling. However, my mother-in-law is another story. Every pair of pants she buys goes to the Tailor for hemming. Luckily she had 3 pairs waiting to go in to get hemmed. She was very leary about us trying this on her new pants, but we were able to do a pair for a trial run. The end result was a very happy mother-in-law and now we will be doing her pants ourselves.

It is very easy to do in theory - but can be a problem if your hem isn't quite right or you get the adhesive stuck on your fingers. Read the instructions carefully and follow them. Even though it says to wash in cold water and you can dry in low temperature - the pants we did were hung to dry. I believe the strips are strong enough to last a very long time if looked after properly. The price of $7.99 for 30 strips is a bargain for someone that is always taking clothes in to be hemmed. You just need to have the patience to do it yourself.
