Truly impressive. The moment I got these, I asked my husband if he had pants that he needed "hemmed" too! I cannot believe that this adhesive lasts through a washer AND dryer! These bonding strips are SUPER sticky and even stuck to my own skin quite well, so fabric doesn't stand a chance! These bonding strips are definitely going to be my vice as I am one who is sewing handicapped. Great product!

I don't have a sewing machine so this saves me the hassle to take my pants for alterations. Follow the instructions, measure twice and done!

This product is made for people like me who find most sewing jobs very challenging and don't have the funds to hire a tailor to hem most of the clothes I buy. (While I am not short, my legs are short relative to my body so most pants, skirts and dresses I buy are too long.)

I used this on a double-slit skirt and it worked quite well, though you have to be very careful to place it as it is not adjustable like the similar product. The skirt has gone through the washer/dryer 3 times now and the hem has not loosened at all. Very pleased!

I was a lucky girl to get this product from the Chick Advisor Review Club. I often need my pants hemmed but am too cheap to pay a seamstress to do it since I don't have the skills to do it myself. After reading the directions I went to work. I was amazed at how easy it was. My pants looked perfect. The only downfall would be I don't think it would make a very nice jean hem due to the need for the stitching to be at the bottom to look unaltered but for dress pants this is top notch. I did however get one strip completely stuck all over my hand, but that was user error and after figuring out how to handle the strip properly I was able to apply the remaining strips with no issues. I will for sure be recommending this product to my friends and family. Thanks again Chick Advisor!

This product isn't bad! It's a permanent solution if you can't hem a piece of clothing by yourself or if a tailor is out of the question. Me on the other hand id rather go get a real hem because I'm scared of it peeling off after a few washes.

I have to hem every pair of pants I buy, which can be costly. So it was nice to try this product, and I was pleased with it. Easy to use and very sticky, so make sure you place it well.

I will say that these are a great idea to permanently hem up some of those clothes you have forgotten to take in or have been too lazy to sew or for people who may not be good at sewing. However, I prefer the non permanent ones as it allowed me to adjust the hem of an article of clothing, as needed and it was easier to work with. I did find these quite sticky and I had to be careful with them. Once you stick them, they aren't forgiving if you were crooked.

I was lucky enough to receive this product to review and I really like it! I'm only 5'3 so a product like this comes in handy. I will continue to purchase these as many pants I buy are still to long for me.

I was fortunate to receive this product for free through the product review club. This is absolutely permanent, which is both good and bad. I had trouble getting my pants folded straight and once you stick, you're committed. Once the strip is stuck, it doesn't come apart, even after washing.

I don't find the strips any less fiddly than hemming pants, however, if you don't own a sewing machine (like me) or usually pay to have your pants hemmed, these are an excellent alternative.

My only complaint is that I wish they were a little more forgiving during the application process.

I was given this to review from the Chick Advisor review club. When they say this is a permanent hem they are not kidding! This stuff is so crazy sticky, make sure you are careful when you placing the strips. I used this on a pair of pants that have been hiding in my closet not being worn because I do not have time to get to a tailor. I have been using them for 2 weeks and they have been washed a few times and still holding in place. Thank you Scotch Essentials!
