I received this product free from the Chick Advisor Product Review Club. My hubby and I always seem to have pants to hem. It just so happened that my hubby bought a brand new pair of jeans that needed to be hemmed. So I followed the instructions on and used it on his jeans. It was so easy to use and it was quick too. I love it that it is permanent and can go through the wash. I would definitely recommend this. It also comes with so much tape! Good value too.

I received this product in the Scotch Essentials package from ChickAdvisor. I loved all the products in this package, but the Permanent Hem Bonding Strips were probably my least favourite. Of course, it is an ideal product to use to ensure your pants stay hemmed... however, I prefer the idea of the adjustable ones so if you need your pants longer or shorter depending on the shoes you're wearing, you have the option of fixing the length.

I think part of the great idea of the hemming strips is that they are less permanent than going and getting them permanently altered, so this product is counteractive in that sense.

However, for those who want permanently hemmed pants and don't want to go get them altered or don't/can't pay the cost, these are a great alternative.

It was easy to use the Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips once I followed the instructions included with the packet of very sticky strips. It is great to now have an alternative to spending much time and money going to a seamstress to hem a pair of pants. I would recommend this product.

This was pretty good for the hold, but I like to switch up the lengths a bit and this stuff held a little too well to change it up alot.

I love this Scotch line of easy to use fix-it strips: easy to apply, and instructions are great to follow, we've all had moments where we needed to fix our pants without making a trip to the tailors and spend unnecessary amounts!
They are very, very handy, and I would recommend these line of products to anyone who needs an instant fix that will last and will provide the desired results you need!

I wear petite bottoms and due to the limited selection of petite pants and jeans in Canada compared to the US, I don't have too much choice if I don't pay for hemming.

This is a revolutionary idea. The permanent aspect of the strips makes it a bit difficult to apply in the beginning. But I guess practice makes perfect. I have only washed my pants a couple of times and they are still on, but I have no idea how long the strips will last.

I would for sure but these in the future. I was very satisfied with the product!

I couldn't review this right away because I needed something to hem. LOL But, finally my pants and a skirt needed a quick fix. Great product and it stayed well on the skirt. The pants needed an couple of presses to stick better but it was good after that. A bit costly but much cheaper than a sewing machine or going to a quick stitch place.

I received this product to try for free from Chick Advisor. I am only 5'2 so hemming my pants is usually necessary unless I buy from the petite section. I own a sewing machine but am too busy to pull it out and so I usually use safety pins. I like that I can hem my pants in a short amount of time with this product without my lack of sewing skills being an issue. They look professionally tailored without the heafty price tag. I will only use this product on dress pants because I can't be sure my jeans won't end up in the dryer on a higher temperature than low.

Once again, I was skeptical, but after trying it out I am converted--especially as a gal who doesn't sew ( I nearly failed home ec in school!) Easy to use and they work!!
