The permanent hem bonding strips works great but its not for on the go you have to use with a iron. If you have the time that night before you know your going to wear those pants it's better in my opinion. When they are fixed the hem is well works great stays up. So effectiveness is amazing price is not bad but if you look at it its faster then using a needle and thread. Thanks #ChickAdviser

i was able to try this and yet again another easy product to use. i read it over a few times to make sure i was going to do it right. once i did i was impressed with myself! easy to use and worked out great!

I was excited that I was chosen by ChickAdvisors to try Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips. I have been looking at this product for a while, wondering if it really worked and was as easy as they say. It was just that easy. I am not a sewer and had to pay to get pants hemmed. Now I can do it at home in no time at all. It's fast, wears well and washes well. So far holding as well as a stitched hem. I am very pleased with this product and have already purchased another package to have on hand.

I would still prefer to send my clothes to a tailor to adjust, just based on expertise.

If you need to hem your clothes, a problem experienced often by short chiquitas like myself, this stuff is a miracle! These permanent strips are easy to use, but you need to be very careful and take your time to ensure your clothes are carefully laid out and marked or pressed before you use the bonding strips. I used a bonding strip on a pant hem that was falling loose. These are tricky sticky strips, and my first attempt was not successful, because my pant leg was not laid flat enough. I had to start over and use a new strip. Once I got it applied properly to my pant leg, I folded the hem over and pressed firmly. My pants were fixed and ready to wear. So far the strip has held up over one wash. Overall, this is a great product because you can use it easily at home. Your new clothes can be wearable sooner - no need to wait a week while your clothes are altered at the tailors!

I actually used the Hem Bonding strips for placing some badges on my son's beaver vest. I hate sewing and thought "HEY! maybe this will work for these!"

Sure enough I used the strips on 3 large badges and they have stayed on for a month so far. I have also washed my son's vest and they have stayed in place.

I absolutely love this product!
