Awful Smell... Fantastic Product?

This product works phenomenally, but the smell is so nauseating I'm unable to use it.
It doesn't smell clean, or fresh - and honestly kind of makes you miss the bathroom odors it's supposed to cover.
That being said, it keeps your toilet clean for ages.
My recommendation? Only buy if you are unable to smell.

Dont waste your time

I got this product hoping it would help with odour and keeping toilets fresh but found it fell extremely short. If it’s not in exactly the right spot then it just drys up and you have to scrape it off. I use a lot of scrubbing bubbles item and only this one gives me issues

Fragrant but not a cleaner

Not for cleaning. Gives a nice scent for the first few days depending on number of flushes but don't last long. Might be nice in a guest washroom to give that clean fresh scent but definitely cheaper ways to achieve same results.

It acclaims that it cleans the toilet after every flush. Even when used in my most high traffic bathroom I still find a slight ring buildup. It starts to get dry and crusty after a few days. The only good thing it does is leave a fresh scent. I don’t find it freshens the whole bathroom as others have said. It hovers just above the toilet area and my bathrooms are not big. Unless I find it for a very good price, and by that I mean no more than $1.50 (which I have gotten through sales and rebates combined) I wouldn’t buy it. I’d stick to a natural cleaner such as vinegar to clean toilets and actually leave a clean scent believe it or not.

This gel effectively is a room scent. It keeps the bathroom smelling fresh, stronger after each flush. It doesn't do much in terms of cleaning, but gives the illusion of a cleaner toilet bowl with the soapy bubbles. Quick and easy application.

So I have been buying Scrubbing Bubbles for many many years now and have had zero issues with there product but with this particular product I did not the the quality or effectiveness I was hoping for. First off the application of the gel is very simple. They give you a tube of gel, You apply it too your toilet bowl and push it too the next little button. (Make sure when you try too apply it you take the lid off or you will have a huge mess. I did that once before and wasted a ton of gel). So after I applied it and flushed the toilet I noticed a VERY STRONG scent from this product. It was so strong and overpowering my husband could smell it in the other room and it gave us immediate headaches. I love nice smelling stuff and never have an issue with products but this is just too overwhelming for any person I also did notice that it did nothing for the cleaning of my toilet. I still had stains around the rims, still had dislocations as well. It made no difference in the cleaning of my toilet.

What I would like too see is a new formulation of the product. Maybe a scent free or something that is not so potent. I also would love if it contained bleach, maybe this would help the cleaning process of the toilet. I won't buy this product again until a new formulation of the product comes out. I still will buy the other products of Scrubbing Bubbles but unfortunately have too throw the remaining product out.

Costed me $7 for the package at Walmart

We got this because it was on sale. In terms of cleaning the toilet... well not so much however it does last for over a month (less if you have one toilet used more frequently than others) and leaves a nice fresh sent after every flush - with some stinky exceptions of course

It worked okay- but we are still sticking to other products (it's a preference thing.) The claims are true- it does not leave any residue behind. If you get the regular kind, the smell won't be as overpowering. It's easy to use and you might consider buying it for a grandparent who lives alone even they can do the application with ease.

I am a big fan of most Scrubbing Bubbles products, so I was very surprised to be disappointed int the Toilet Cleansing Gel. I wouldn't buy them again. They didn't seem to be effective even when I tried different placements. I thought the fragrance would be pleasant, but found we didn't care for it. I do like all of the other products in the Scrubbing Bubbles line.

I didn't find this product did anything different other than the fresh smell .. Doesn't clean or prevent anything .. I was pretty disappointed and also it doesn't dissolve completely and it's like glue so
You have to remove it with toilet paper otherwise it's gonna get stuck in your toilet brush and it's a pin to remove without using hand or gloves . Not worth the money
