Very easy to use, fast transfer.

External hard-drives sure have come a long way. Last time I bought one, it was only 500GB and cost almost as much as this one! So it’s an impressive amount of storage. An absolute must for any photographer, hoarder or gamer, to have the extra space to store photos, saved games and even game data.

This Seagate external hard drive is the very definition of plug and play. You plug it in and it can be used instantly. You don’t need to faff about with any software (though it does come with some) and can simply copy and paste files over. It’s simple enough to be a hard drive for a person who is not very tech-savvy.

What I love about it is that I can switch it between my PS4 and PC with no formatting or needing to ‘write’ anything on it. So I can use it to transfer pics from my PS4 to PC as well. In the long run I might use it for extra space for PS4 games, or to back up more of my photos, but for now, it’s working well as a backup for a few important folders. The transfer is shockingly quick!

It’s small and light, so easy to travel with as well. I do find the colour a bit boring and really prone to fingerprints, but that’s not really a big problem.

Overall, I don’t have any major complaints and am very happy with it!
