I received my full size sample of Sebastain Volupt Shampoo for free in my last months GlossyBox. I’m not sure how much it sells for because I never received the card in my box that gives me this information and it doesn’t say on their web site. My hair is very long, thin, straight, color treated and tends to be oily on top and dry on the bottom. This Sebastian Volupt Shampoo is made to give you volume witch isn’t something I was looking for, but you get what you get. I washed my hair with it as usual and it did give me a nice lather, it had a light fresh scent to it and it rinsed out fairly easily enough. How ever I could tell I was going to be in trouble as soon as I was rinsing my hair out. I could feel nothing but a mass of knots on the top of my head and all through my hair witch I just knew no amount of conditioner was going to help remove. Unfortunately I was right about that and it took me an hour to comb through my hair. I was left with hands full of hair that had bin pulled out and when my hair was dry, it was fuzzy through out not soft healthy looking and full of volume like they made me think it would be. If I had the conditioner that goes along with this shampoo I may have had better results, but I really don’t think so. This Sebastian Volupt Shampoo just wasn’t for me or my hair type so I won’t be buying it any time soon. I gave it to my mom to try, but she hasn’t told me how she feels about it yet.
This is a great volumizing shampoo its worked wonders for my fine limp hair. The bottle is sleek black and I love how the lid is upside down so you can get every last drop out of the bottle. It has a nice light lovey scent sweet and floral and not over-barring at all.You only need a little bit of this creamy shampoo and it really lathers up nicely and rinses away perfectly.I love how this Shampoo has brought such volume into my hair it looks so much thicker and full and healthy. It also makes my hair feel very soft which is surprising as many volumizing shampoos do not soften hair. This shampoo is also safe for color treated hair. I'm loving the volume Sebastian!
