Tims mochas are laughable. And Starbucks mochas are rich. Second Cup's mochas are an okay mid point, if only they weren't priced the same as Starbucks.
Second Cup uses actual espresso, chocolate sauce, and steamed milk to make their mocha. This is a great start, but the chocolate doesn't have the same real cocoa taste to it like it should. Instead, you're left with a "processed" cocoa taste to go with the milk and the slightly bitter espresso. It's not bad and it isn't overloaded with sugar (looking at you, Tims), but it could definitely be improved. Chocolate doesn't forgive bad quality the way other products do. But at least it can be truly called a latte.
