Smells so nice!

I have been using Secret Deodorant since before I can remember. I absolutely love this deodorant especially in the scent Water Lily and the Hawaiian Breeze.

I am really on the fence about Secret Gel Deodorant.

I like it but something about it just doesn't (pardon the pun!) gel with me.. The scent..i love. It doesn't make me smell..which i love. I dont have to think about white deodorant stains..which i love. Its a gel that you have to turn to get product from..i dont love. I have never used a gel deodorant before. I have always been a stick type of gal, or spray a long time ago, and honestly never really a Secret gal. The gel concept intrigued me.

What i liked; The first few uses i didn't give much thought to it..it smelled nice and it didn't make me smell so all was good in the armpit department (if there is such a thing!). It also feels more hygienic. The stick isn't just sitting there drying up and collecting whatever nasties you have had on your armpit..es i know you apply deodorant to clean armpits but come one we have all slapped some deodorant on to our "not freshly washed armpits" before in a moment of sweaty panic!

What i didn't; After my initial "oh cool a new deodorant" phase the gel thing started to bug me. I dont like that you have to turn it up every time and that whatever you turn up you use. With a stick i find i dont turn it every time and you use what you use and the rest is there for the next use. It seems wasteful because maybe i dont need a full twist for one armpit.

The brand though i am liking.. I have always pretty much stuck with another brand because i see it on sale and buy a few. I never really think to venture to a different brand. But i really like the scent of this. Its fresh and zingy and not that soapy/laundry smell that i feel is the go-to for deodorant makers.

Compared to other products currently on the market, I think that the Secret Clear Gel Deodorant Cool Waterlily is a goodfind - it has a cool, uplifting scent of Waterlily that makes you feel like spring is finally here. The scent isn't heavy or overwhelming, and the gel doesn't stain or show on clothes (black, white or colour). I definitely recommend the Secret Clear Gel Deodorant Cool Waterlily for those who are looking for something that is easy to use, has a great light scent and doesn't stain clothes at all!
