Being on a budget and looking for sales ,tried different types and they end up in the garbage. When it comes to SECRET, I will pay whatever the price is for a guaranteed feeling of dryness.
I sweat a lot and most antiperspirants don't do the job. However, I love Secret. The added Olay makes my arm pits smoother and easier to shave! I think they found the perfect combination with this one! It also comes in many different, great scents!
I have purchased Secret Platinum in Vanilla Chai twice in a row. The first time I bought it, I fell in absolute love with the smell. It lasts the same amount of time as your average deodorant stick, and has, from what I've noticed, many more selections of scents. However, on days I'd go to the gym I noticed it didn't do much to withhold my perspiration, but emitted a strong whiff of the deodorants scent rather than of sweat. This was nice for the gym buffs working out next to me, but didn't save me much embarassment. When I ran out of the first stick I was determined to find a better one, but the scent of Vanilla Chai once again dragged me in and I made the purchase for the second time. This time, there was a sticker that said, "Scent release when you need it most". I guess they got a few complaints. Anyway, I've been less active with this stick and it's lasted all day when I'm not working myself up to a sweat. I don't recommend for active women.
I have the Secret Platinum deodorant with the kuku coco butter scent. I really love the smell, but the deodorant doesn't cut it if you're working out or really active. I find myself constantly reapply throughout the day and I won't be buying this brand again.
I haven't used Secret in years, and now I remember why I stopped using it. It sucks big time! I thought that maybe, over the years things might have gotten better, but I was wrong. I used coupons just to save some money in case I was disappointed, which I am. I can't wait until I am finished this one so I can move on to something a lot better. I feel like the scent doesn't last long and that it gets used up so much faster than my regular deodorants. Secret sucks. Always has, always will.
I remember when the slogan was "Strong enough for a man, but made for a woman" and then it changed to "Strong enough for a woman". It should be "Strong enough for nothing and no one because we suck so bad", but I guess that would be too long and not so catchy.
