Oddly enough, while most of the shades performed well, there were some that were chalky and lacked intensity. These shades felt hard to the touch and refused to pick up pigment especially the final row of neutral browns. This palette isn't perfect by any means and the best-performing shades were the teals, greens and purples so if you prefer to play it safer with neutrals this will not be your go-to palette. However, if you are more adventurous and would only use the neutrals for accentuating your crease and/or highlighting, then you could really have a lot of fun.
