The first thing that stands out with this eye shadow is the design. The chromatic swirl that protrudes out of the black glossy square container is like a work of art. The built in mirror is a nice touch.

Things to note: this glossy surface does scratch easily, so some care must be made to keep it from touching other things. Dropping it will also break the eye shadow very easily because it is exposed.

The eye shadow itself is a smooth, long wearing (with primer) powder - not quite a cream like indicated -with minimal fall out. All of the shades have some shine, but are wearable and not overly shiny that it is a distraction. There is a lot of more product in this than for most shadows, so it will take a long time before it will be used up.
