I was nervous ordering this because I specifically wanted it for my face moisturizer, which comes in a jar (and I hate sticking my fingers in there), and I saw the reviews that it doesn't work with thick lotions.
long story short, it DOES work, but you have to fill it entirely w no airbubbles. I wound up filling it w water and then squirting it all out to get the bottom up near the top so there wouldn't be any extra room. And it works great with my lotions (algenist).
I took one star away because the plastic caps are pretty cheap and the outside silver part separated on one the first time I opened it, and because the opening that you use to fill it is pretty small which seems stupid for an item that is meant to be refilled. But overall,just what I was looking for.
