Received this in a free sample bag from Sephora. It is a pink gel-like consistency that you massage into the face and leave overnight. I did not notice any rose scent. Instructions say to apply to face, neck and the eye area (which did sting around this sensitive area and I would not recommend applying around the eye). It felt quite sticky when applied and didn't fully sink in over the night. In the morning I did not notice any changes in my skin (like the intended hydrating or plumping effect) other than that my forehead was left a bit greasy and my cheeks sticky (note I have very dry/flaking skin). I am glad I received his for free and did not waste my money purchasing it! I have not tried the other formulas, maybe they are better quality!
