Sets your makeup for extra wear
I recently purchased this setting powder as it was recommended by a Sephora beauty expert. I have never had a setting powder before and I love it. I use a little powder before using it first as I feel it makes me skin look more flawless overtop
It does what it suppose too
It’s a great product. Not too amazed but it does work. I have tried with different foundations, it seems to set my base. But during summer time I might have to go back and patted on my t-zone.
Worst packaging for a setting powder
The setting powder itself is great - it's translucent so it doesn't change the colour of your foundation in any way. It leaves a smooth, light finish. But the packaging is awful. It has a small dispensing button that the closed cover presses on, so you need to close and flip the container upside-down each time you need more as it only dispenses a fairly small amount of powder, which makes it difficult when the powder is running low. So overall, the powder itself is great but the packaging is awkward and at times problematic to get the powder out when the product is running low.
I like this product
Thisbis a nice finishing powder. It's translucent so it doesn't change the shade. It goes on nice and smooth. Blends nicely and it's great to use for baking your face.
This setting powder is pretty affordable but the component design is stupid and it's nearly impossible to get any product out. I also hate the smell, it's like yeast! So gross.
Love love love this powder!
I picked this up a few days ago when my very expensive Laura mercier powder fell and spilled all over my bathroom floor :(. Not wanting to she'll out $60 for it's replacement, the SA at Sephora suggested this one. It's been amazing. I use it mainly to help set my concealer under my eyes. Ever since switching my eye make up no longer drips into my under eye area. Very satisfied and will def repurchase!
I bought this to use with a new primer and foundation I was trying out. I usually use a flesh toned powder but the advisor suggested this universal powder - its actually very white but works for me.
You flip the compact over and then upright before popping open the lid. This causes a measured amount of powder to be dispensed into the 'holding tray'.. Then I just dipped my big brush in, swirl a bit and apply. Repeat until you have your desired coverage. Lasted all day on my nose area - which is my problem spot. I love this powder but its quite small (0.24 oz) compared to drug store sized powders.
