It works but it is flaky and takes forever!

I like Shea Moisture products but this one ISSA NO! It works on 4c hair but it takes HOURS of endless combing and flaking for it to be "absorbed" into my hair. It is too thick! I tried it with dry hair AND wet hair! The problem remains it does not absorb instead leaves this thick gunky feeling. After 1 to 2 days it does disappear with combing, I do NOT recommend it for $10 it is just too much to spend for such an unfortunate result.

Not for thin, 2b/2c girls :(

I really wanted to love this product because it smells fantastic and I love this brand, however no matter which way I applied it, I just couldn’t get it to work for me. I have thin, 2b/2c hair, and this product was just way too thick and heavy for me. I even tried mixing with water and applying just to my frizzy ends, and still it resulted in a greasy mess.

Not good for thin hair

I have very thin hair and I tried using this product several time and even when I put just a little bit of it on my hair it let them greasy. I think the product fits very well for dry hair.

This product and this line in particular left my hair sticky and feeling greasy. It ruined the collar of my white blouse. The product provides great hair hydration but its not a comfortable wear.
