Translating to ‘white lover’ in English, Shiroi Koibito biscuits. A favorite Japanese cookie for more than 40 years from Hokkaido Japan. Each cookie comes individually wrapped in an attractive presentation box featuring an image of Mount Rishiri. The cookie is 5cm x 5cm in diameter, is slightly rounded with the white filling poking out the corners. The cookie is golden and has a slightly more golden colour around the edges. Cookie has thin layer of white creamy chocolate sandwiched between two delicate cookies. They are really crisp and delicate with a perfect amount of filling and was overall not overly sweet yet melts in your mouth. You can't ever resist, no matter how many times you have it.
