As much as I am a loyal customer to Clinique I also really do love Shiseido's Pureness balancing softener. It really is super light and feels like water. It is an alcohol free product which you can tell right when you put it on your face. Don't be fooled when it says alcohol free that it may not clean well. It actually takes all the dirt off your face. I was not too sure how well this product was going to work but it works really well. It smells great as well. It goes for around $29 for 150ml. The pricing isn't bad, it's prices are similar to Clinique, so if you have purchased from Clinique in that past, you'll notice Shiseido is very similar in pricing for certain products.

I have extremely sensitive skin and am prone to adult cystic pimples around my chin. The pureness line has really helped. After I use the pureness cream cleanser I always follow it with the softener. I find it really makes my skin clean and removes all the dirt and oil that washing didn't. Last winter my skin started to dry out so I tried skipping the softener. BIG mistake my face went dry and flaky. I love this product.
