Great for cleaning dry skin

Purchased from Sephora as a kit so great value. No heavy scent, light weight, easy to apply to skin with hands or pads. Needs to be worked in all over face to almost create a foam which easily removes stubborn makeup. Leaves skin feeling clean and soft. Not harsh at all.

I've been using the Shu Uemura brightening and polishing oil for awhile now and it's one of my favourite products!

As this is an oil product, someone with oily or combination skin may find it too rich for their use. It's not ever made me breakout but I can see that it might for someone who is sensitive to an oil type product. As my skin tens to be on the drier side over the winter months and into spring, this product has become a lifesaver. The oil goes on smoothly and smells fabulous; you simply apply it all over your face then wet your hands and lather it up. It definitely feels like a high-end product (and depending on the size you buy ranges in price from $50-$90 it is!). Once you have worked up the lather, you simply rinse it away and you're left with soft, smooth, dewy skin (and again, it smells, great!).

The product is designed to cleanse and soften as well as even out skin tone. So far I've been pretty happy with it's performance, my skin definitely feels great when I use this product regularly. I don't have any problems with uneven skin using this but I really can't say if it's because of the product or not.
