I love this cleansing oil. I always get the green Anti-oxi one. I've been using it for many years, as my daily evening routine. It removes makeup and cleanses the skin at the same time, without drying it out. It's one of the best in the market. For a few certain stubborn mascara brand, it might not be able to completely remove it all, but it does a really good job for most brand. It's not cheap, but the big bottle can last you a long time. Highly recommended!
Shu uemura a/o cleasing oil is great. I tried the green bottle anti/oxi due to the only one availabile in sephora. This cleasing oil work great even on my combination skin. My skin feel refresh and clean even remove water proof make up effortlessly without stinging eyes. My only concern is price point, but it does do a great job.
The best, most luxurious cleansing oil of all the cleansing oils I have tried , from drug store to luxury brands. This cleansing oil emulsifies beautifully, washes off clean with no need for a second cleanse. Also doesn't leave an oily residue in your eyes. Leaves skin clean, but not dry and taut.
Aside from the pretty big price tag for facial cleanser, it is one of the best cleanser. At first I was skeptical as it was an "oil" used as a cleanser. I already have an oily face so to add more oil to my face was a no-no. I was lucky, or unlucky since it is honestly really pricey, to receive a sample. I used it and I had to go buy a bottle. I have to admit I use a smaller amount than recommended but it works wonders. And it smells really nice too!
Love, love, love all my Shu cleansing oils. They really are the best in this category. The oils do a fantastic job of' getting rid of the day's makeup, and my skin feels so clean and moisturized after. They are definitely worth the price that you pay.
I use the premium A/V one and i live by it. This cleansing oil takes everything off so easily without having to rub hard or anything. Although it might seem a bit pricey but it's really worth it because i use an average of two pumps (depending on the amount of makeup i have on) and this bottle last me a while. Plus i love the smell of this one.
I tried a sample of this and it was for the green bottle. The smell really got to me.. it's kind of an herbal smell but it is not pleasant. However, it was highly effective! It removed all of my makeup and left my skin feeling moisturized and not tight at all. It almost turns milky when you wash it off. I would buy this, but the price is a little too high for me.
I'm been using the Shu Uemuera's Anti-Oxi cleansing oil to remove all my makeup and as a facial cleanser, so no double cleansing needed. This cleansing oil is suitable for all skin types. The oil is thin and easy to spread all over the face. It make your skin feeling super clean, soft, smooth, radiant and hydrated. I highly recommend you to try this.
I LOVE oil cleansers.
The Shu Uemura line is pretty pricey (about $70 for 450mL, $35 for 150mL) but it lasts a long time. The instructions say to use two full pumps but I always just use one full pump or even less sometimes, and that is more than enough. Their line comes in different formulations for different skin types. It has a nice floral scent. I think the Shu Uemura line is mineral oil based but it does NOT cause acne for me even though I have oily acne-prone skin. It removes EVERYTHING, even the heaviest of makeups and still leaves your skin from being overstripped and you can still use it as a cleanser when not wearing makeup (i.e. morning).
I find the Shu Uemura line to be more watery than the DHC Olive Oil Cleanser. The DHC cleanser is a bit more drying and is a little bit cheaper for 200mL. I definitely recommend!!
