100% OF CHICKS DIG IT
What I found interesting about this collection of Drawing Pencils is that 10/21 shades have been designed with Asian skin colour in mind. I never stopped to think that a black eyeliner could be in a shade that either made my eyes look stunning or very plain Jane (no offense to me).
I mentioned that these pencils are very creamy, but set quickly so if you want to blend your colour you need to work at light speed. If crisp lines are what you want, I’d get a liquid liner instead as the tip is quite soft. If you’re looking for a long-lasting eyeliner, these are AMAZING. They are waterproof, smudgeproof and whatever else “proof” you can think of. The secret lies in a 2 polymer formula that evaporates once the colour sets on the skin. The result is colour that requires a few swipes of an oil-based eye makeup remover to remove. I should add that the metallic finish took some work to remove along my lower lash line.
At almost $30/pencil, having all 21 shades is a bit of an indulgence, but for how long-wearing these Drawing Pencils are, I would invest in a colour that you could see yourself using a lot of. There are some wonderful neutrals that are meant as shadow and sculpt shades (4) or defining shades (6) meant to beautifully frame the eyes. THESE are the shades I would look to buying if I was going to spend the money!
