    Dry hair begone!

Shu Uemura Essence Absolue Nourishing Protective Oil is the best hair oil I have ever used — maybe it’s a stupid thing to complain about, but usually hair serum is just, well, oily and gross (to me) and to get it off my hands I have to SCRUB and SCRUB for like TEN MINUTES (even as a kid, I always hated having stuff on my hands). Not so this time, this comes off my fingers relatively quickly (still have to lather up a couple of times, but that’s fine). It’s got a strangely dry feeling to it, not oily at all, and hoo boy does it make my hair gorgeous! Totally counteracts how dry my hair has been getting! And you don’t need to use much, I only use a tiny dab on my fingertip, the bottle is pricey but well worth it.

This oil is amazing! I ditched the rest of my serums after first trying the product because it's that good. It's costly but worth it, especially considering the fact that you only need to use just this one product! Smells really nice, a light florally scent. Smoothes the cuticle, adds shine, it's very lightweight and won't weigh fine hair down. Can be applied before a blowout or after to tame flyaways. A little goes a long way so it's worth the money in that sense. Quality vs. quanity is key when it comes to hair.
    Would def recommend!!

This has been fantastic for giving my flat iron that perfect amount of "glide". Since this is a yellow-hued oil, I probably won't use it when/if I go back to being blonde, but it has been totally fine now that I am dark as yellow oils tend to make blonde hair go brassy more quickly. Again, this is a pretty pricey product, so 1-2 pumps should be more than enough. I only use one pump for my ends and avoid my roots though the instructions say this oil is light enough to use from root to tip.
