This eyelash curler is great for people with smaller set eyes and short eyelashes. The curler is easy to use and able to get even the smaller shorter lashes. Quick and effective!
I've always used drugstore eyelash curlers like Revlon and ELF. But I didn't feel like the drugstore eyelash curlers did anything for my eyelashes. So I decided to invest in a good eyelash curler. I picked up this eyelash curler from Sephora. It was pretty pricey but it came with a replacement pad and boy it is worth it. I tried it and instantly fell in love with it. It really curls my eyelashes instead of pulling them out. I highly recommend it to anyone that's looking for a good eyelash curler. A comparable eyelash curler would be from Shiseido.
Public Service Announcement: THE ELF REFILL PADS FIT THE SHU CURLER! Although it's a tad less cushiony, at $1 a pop, you cannot go wrong!
This eyelash curler is just o.k, not the best that I've tried but way better then the eyelash curlers at the drug stores, it does the job, it does pinch me at times and the silicone pad on this curler pulls out 1 or 2 lashes every time I use it (not good!) and not exactly the perfect amount of pressure on my eyelashes either, since I discovered the Shiseido eyelash curler, i won't be repurchasing this Shu Uemura eyelash curler again. I honestly don't see what the hype is about, in my opinion it is over rated.
I've been using this product for over a year and haven't had to use the refill yet. I don't use mascara with it so I kept it relatively clean. It still works well after a year although not as great as it first started out. Nonetheless, it keeps my lashes curled for the whole day.
Really curls your eyelashes and with enough mascara you don't need false eyelashes!
Im torn!
This IS an amazing eye lash curler, but its also as good as any $6-10 drug store brand as well! I mean, some cheap ones just pinch and don't curl, but I've honestly had some that are $7 and work just the same. So even though it is amazing, its just as amazing as some cheaper ones (Revlon is my favourite).
it also doesn't come with any refills which REALLY bugged me because I don't like using the same one for too long. I also have really thick lashes so have to hold it a little longer, and it does slightly pinch SOMETIMES on the corner ends, but maybe not for everyone I just have really big eyes.
I wouldn't recommend, ONLY BECAUSE of the price and lacking of refills. But it did its job!
I decided to buy this eyelash curler because of all the high reviews. I feel like this curler is overrated. It did what it was supposed to, but I wouldn't call this holy grail material.
This was a pretty big investment for an eyelash curler. I later found out that they don't sell refill pads for this so you have to buy a new once after every few months.
Would I reccomend it to friends, probably not.
Would I repurchase? Maybe if it was on sale but otherwise I will be on the hunt for my holy grail lash curler.
This is by far the best eyelash curler that I have ever used. It curls easily, and curls very nicely too. I don't have to press really hard, and it really makes a difference to how my lashes look.
