Actually Works

I used this cleansing oil on a full face of makeup and I can say it works very well, even on mascara. I was left with clean skin that did not feel tight and stripped of moisture. The 8 different oils do make your skin feel good. I recieved a sample to try and will be buying this when I run out of my other cleansing balms. #butterly #gotitfree #tryShuUemura

Nice, but not what I expected

I've never tried a cleansing oil before, I had no idea what to expect. The results were better than I thought. I assumed that the oil would leave film on my face, it didn't. It absorbed in nicely and it felt moisturized. I like the product a lot. I will purchase again.

Not for me

I wasn’t crazy about this cleansing oil. Being an oil it’s very greasy which is to be expected. I also didn’t feel like there was anything cleansing about it. It smelt weird and just didn’t feel good

Great oil.

I got this Shu Uemura as a free sample from Butterly but I'm not really sure exactly what it is. It says cleansing oil but there's no instructions on how to use it. It smells good and it's definitely an oil I guess my skin looks a little brighter. I appreciate the opportunity to test this product.

Great product

This oil feels really good on the skin. It worked as expected and left my skin super soft. I’d use just a bit less if you have oily skin though, this cleansing oil should work beat in combination or dry skin.

Worked great!

The Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil did a great job at cleaning my face. It made my face feel so soft and my makeup is definitely easier to apply after using this. The only reason that I didn't give five stars is because I don't like using an oil to wash my face. I find it to be a little messy to use.

Really impressed with the Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil. It helps me to effectively remove my makeup when I use it as a first cleanse and it's easy to remove with my 2nd cleanser!

Buttery with soft fragrance

This oil leaves my skin feeling buttery soft and hydrated. I never got it to produce grits but my shower may not have been hot enough. Pores appeared smaller after 1 use.

This cleanser is amazing

I received this cleansing oil free from Butterfly and Shu Uemura free in exchange for my honest review. It is a wonderful cleansing oil. Takes off my sunscreen and waterproof mascara without a problem and no need for a special eye makeup remover. Leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth. There is no need for double cleansing with this oil which makes it wonderful in the morning because it makes your makeup apply beautifully on top of it. The smell is amazing! it has that wonderful smell of Chinese medicines which is so very relaxing. Not overpowering at all just enjoyable. It makes you feel like you are at the spa. you only need a very tiny amount of product to do a wonderful and thorough job. the first time I used it I used way too much but quickly learned to use the right amount. It's a wonderful and effective product which I thoroughly enjoyed but it is rather pricy. If it was on sale, I would definitely buy it but at regular price I am not so sure. It does do a very nice job of shrinking your pores and leaves your skin clean and healthy. It is definitely more of a skincare step and not just a cleansing oil so that does somewhat justify the price. plus there is no need for double cleansing so one product instead of two. I am torn.

Cleansing oil

Did a great job of what it's supposed to do. I was very impressed with the quality and results. I recommend this product. It also smells very nice. Left my hair very clean.
