Works Well, but Pricey!

I received this Shu Uemura cleansing oil free from Butterly and Shu Uemura in exchange for my honest review. I more often double cleanse with a balm rather than an oil, so it was fun to try something different. I really enjoyed this! It did a great job removing my makeup, didn't sting my eyes, and left my skin feeling soft afterwards. It also has a lovely, light floral fragrance. However, the price does seem a bit high for a product that stays on the skin so briefly.

Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil

I am so glad that I was one of the chosen few to get selected to try the Shu Uemura Ultimate8 beauty oil. I generally don't buy new or pricey products for my skin care routine, but after trying this product, just once, I can see why people invest in their beauty routine. I even had to look up a youtube video and really, it's super easy, just wet your face, add the product and massage into your skin, the oil then becomes milky and then wash off with luke warm water. I enjoyed the luxurious feeling of the product. I can see if I was wearing makeup then yes I would use this product. I did have to apply a moisturizer after I was done. So, I would say get the trial size 1.7 oz, see if it works for you, and then go from there!

I loved this

I haven't tried a product like this before now. I was surprised by this face wash. I really like the oil base to this and it really does cleanse the skin but it doesn't seem to strip the moisture and dry it out like so many soap cleansers do. My skin feels soft and clean. I really like this product.

Great cleansing oil

I have received this Shu Uemura Ultime8 Subline Beauty Cleansing Oil for my honest review. I love a good oil cleanser as my first step to remove my waterproof makeup and sunscreen. This is a very gentle yet effective oil cleanser. After gently massaging it onto my face I would slowly add some water to create a nice creamy consistency to remove all the make up. This does not clog my pores, doesn't leave an oily residue and doesn't dry my skin.

A great addition to my skincare routine

Shu Uemura's Ultime8 Beyond Cleansing is great. I was a little skeptical at first, as the thought of a cleansing "oil" made me worry that my face would feel greasy and I would break out. That was not the case at all. Made from 8 essential oils, this cleanser actually feels quite luxurious on your face. I'm not sure I did it correctly, as when I added the water, it didn't get "milky" like it is supposed to, but there was a change in texture. It was really easy to apply and left my skin feeling very clean and satiny. Can't wait to try it on my makeup! I am so thankful that I got to try this, it will be a great addition to my skincare routine!

Luxurious Cleansing Oil

I am someone with sensitive and combination skin, changes in my skin care routine can cause breakouts, I never know what to expect when introducing a new product.I did have a couple pimples breakout but after the first few days of use, it cleared up. The Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil is a gentle lightweight non greasy formula and a little goes a long way, leaving the skin with almost a matte finish after. It did not make my eyes water. I used four generous drops that I put in my hand, massaged it on my dry face, added a little bit of water until it turned milky, then rinsed with water. I followed this with a serum and moisturizer.
As I don't wear a lot of makeup day to day,  I never thought I needed a cleanser, but I feel that this took away some end of day grime, I didn't know I was leaving on my face.
 
When you open the bottle, it smells like you are at the spa. As someone who can be sensitive to scented products, I appreciate that it is a natural, very light smell.

Nice cleansing oil

A little bit dry on facial skin after cleansing, but feels thoroughly clean. After applying my daily lotion, it feels fine and normal again. Looking forward to try other products of this brand.

This Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil from Shu Uemura is one of my holy grail skincare products. The cleansing oil helped to remove makeup (even stubborn waterproof makeup) and sunscreen easily. It feels luxurious and provides effective cleansing without drying out the skin. I liked how there was no need to double cleanse, and how my skin felt soft and supple after using it.

I really liked this product and it felt good on my face and it wasn't greasy and it felt very light on my face. I would definitely buy this if the price is right
