Overall I thought this product was okay, my skin is already so greasy, so this added a lot of grease to it, it worked good for a makeup remover and it was gentle & didn’t make my skin break out, after it was rinsed off, my skin was smooth! It’s a small package and it was runny so didn’t get to try it as many times to see a different in my skin! I still prefer my regular cleanser! Overall 7/10

Amazing cleansing oil

I have always heard great things about Shu Uemura's cleansing oils but due to it's price point, never purchased one to try. I was super excited to receive a free large size sample to try. The oil effortlessly melted away my makeup without causing any tugging feeling on my skin.

Not for me

I received a sample for review and I’m less than impressed. There was so much that came out of the sachet that it got everywhere. It was so oily that it actually felt gross on my face. It took the foundation off my face but my mascara and eyeliner weren’t touched. I couldn’t wait to get the product off my face. It may have been better if I had had more control over the amount used. Honestly not a fan.

Luxurious Feeling Cleansing Oil

I received this product sample to try, and here's my honest review. It feels very luxurious on my skin when I used it to cleanse with. Because it's an oil, it's a bit messy to apply but I followed the directions (apply to dry skin) and then rinsed off. Afterwards my skin felt very soft and smooth and looked a bit brighter. I would love to continue using it but the price is definitely steep so I may not be able to afford to.
Overall I'd recommend if it's in your price range.

Great cleansing oil

This was a great cleansing oil product! It was quite a light weight oil and did an excellent job of cleansing my face. It didn't leave my face as squeaky clean as other oil cleansers, but overall I really enjoyed it. Perfect for those with dry skin!

Love this product!!

I am in love with this cleansing oil. It leaves my skin feeling so velvety and soft after use. I have noticed the difference in my skin after just a few uses. My skin feels so refreshed and healthy after using this product. It is a bit on the pricier side but, the product itself proves why. I will definitely be purchasing again and recommending it to friends/family.

Shu Uemura Ultimate8 Beyond Cleansing Oil

I received @shuuemura ultime8 beyond cleansing oil from @thisisbutterly for my review.
I normally use a face wash to clean my makeup off my face. Never thought of using cleansing oil. However, after using for a week, I noticed my face was softer in texture and all my makeup (which isn’t a lot) came off quite easily. The cleansing oil had a nice smell to it. It reminded me of that “spa” fragrance.
It’s a great product and will continue to use when I need it, but not sure if I would include it in my daily face cleansing routine.
