Ultimate Cleanse with a side of Luxury

I absolutely love the ultime8 sublime beauty cleansing oil. I felt like I got my makeup off in one clean swipe and my skin didn't feel dried out and painful. I also felt like it left my face feeling really nurtured. It's great for a self care session at the end of a long day.

Hydrating Delight

I live this product. I've been having a lit of issues this summer with dry and itchy skin which usually isn't the case. This cleansing oil helps to make my skin feel soft, refreshed and hydrated. Easy to use and smells great too!

Makes your skin feel like silk

I have only used it twice but it makes your skin feel very smooth and soft as silk. It is oily and you only need a little bit. Only issue is I could not read the back of the package and I don't believe there were instructions for use. I just put the product on then rinsed it off with water.

Really Nice!

I received this free product to try and I’m always really sceptical about trying face products because I suffer from adult acne. I looked up the reviews online and they were great so I tried it at night and I’m pleasantly surprised at how nice my skin felt! Not oily at all, a nice soft feeling and even in the morning I didn’t have any extra oil! The price is high though, only downfall!

Easy to apply and smells oh so good!

I like the consistency even though it's oil, it doesn't feel overly oily on my skin. It also smells really nice when I applied it on my skin. I like that it's infused with 8 different oils to renew my skin quality. My skin did feel moisturized and smooth after using this product.

Amazing cleanser

I received this product for free and I absolutely love it. It managed to get rid of the makeup I was wearing and it has a lovely smell. It didn’t cause any breakouts and made my skin soft.

LOVE IT BUT NOT FOR ME

I think this product is great for someone who enjoys removing their makeup through the use of an oil, however, I am not that person. The product works great and it is super easy to use, but I personally prefer makeup removing wipes.

Number one cleansing oil

This product is absolutely my favorite so far cause this was my first time using a cleansing oil and I was a bit skeptical at first to try it but now I am a believer of double cleansing. This made my skin feel super soft, nourished and not dry at all. After cleansing with the oil I followed it with my regular skin care routine and my face has never felt fresh. Truly a product for the ages! #tryShuUemura

Gorgeous smelling makeup remover that's not oily

I received the Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil sample for free in exchange for an honest review. I have walked past the Shu Uemura beauty desk/shops so many times but have never tried anything (it’s just too expensive), so I’m very thankful and happy to try this Sublime Beauty Cleansing oil. First impression, it smells glorious, kind of like being in a rainforest. I think it’s the Tsubaki flower (Japanese camellia oil) that’s generating the pleasant scent. It’s not very oily, unlike some other brands I’ve used. I used a cotton pad and because it’s a little more watery, I noticed I had to use a bit more to wet the pad. That being said, it was so worth it. Two wipes and my eye make up was gone, and that was waterproof mascara too. Another wipe and my lipstick also came off. Even with a full face of makeup (we had a wedding to go to), it only took 2 cotton pads to clean off everything.

My only small suggestion is to include “how to use” on the bottle or package. Knowing this is a sample, and maybe that’s why there isn’t any instructions. It’s like, can I leave it on, because it leaves my skin so soft and smells so good? Can I use it like a moisturizer? I didn’t, since it says it’s a makeup remover, and I followed up with my usual skin cleaning routine. Otherwise what a great product!

Great Cleansing Oil

I received the Shu uemera cleaning oil to test for free from Butterfly. I really loved how clean my skin was after using it and that it left no residue.
Unfortunately, because the size of the sample was so small, I could only get 2 uses of it and can’t comment on the long term benefits to the skin.
