I loved the Shu Uemura Ultome8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil. It was super easing to use & my skin felt so clean & refreshed after using. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good cleanse.

Takes some time to fully rubbed in

This oil cleanser is easy to use, however, it takes some time to fully break down makeup. Once fully rubbed in you need to emulsify it with water then rinse. I found that I needed to spend a little more time rubbing to break down waterproof makeup. This left my skin feeling a little drying and tight, but it removed all of the makeup. I recommend following up with another cleanser just to make sure everything is removed and to prevent breakouts if you are sensitive to ingredients like Shea butter and fragrance oils.

Not my thing

I tend to use a simple skin care routine for my face. I have somewhat oily skin (especially in warmer months) so I was hesitant in using this product. I still tried it, but am disappointed.. my skin felt greasy & clogged..
Don't even get me started on the price of this!!

Surprised

When I opened the product and poured it into my fingers it felt like like a very thin oil. I thought to myself, oh this is a cleanser?!? But I washed my face and it came off easily with water only. My skin felt very soft afterwards. There was no irritation to the skin. I wasn't fond of the smell however. Smelled like flowers-something a grandma would use.

Great Product!

Loved using this sample. It easily removes makeup and is so gentle that it doesn’t sting your eyes when removing eye makeup. Would definitely use this again. Wish I had a bigger sample!

Pure luxury

I was gifted this small sample from buttery. This is the one! Removes all makes up effortlessly and left my skin super smooth and soft. My sample was small so it’s hard to tell how it does long term. I’m not sure I’d buy it again simply because it’s so expensive and I’m not sure of the long term effects with using it over time. If it was gifted to me and I loved it after a month, I’d definitely splurge on this one.

Beautiful cleanser with nice results

The Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil was light and refreshing. It easily removed my makeup, including black eyeliner and mascara. Most impressive was no oily residue left behind after the makeup was removed.

This is all you need for your skin

I used this once to clean my face on a road trip. My day was full of dirt and dust. I can visibly see the difference after applying it. It left my skin clean and provide adequate moisture in skin.

Highly effective

I received a sample of Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil from Butterly to try and review. I liked that once you applied the oil you could work up a fine lather with a bit of water. That reassured me that it was working to get under my makeup and take it off. It did a fine job too, as I double-checked with some mineral water the first time and the pad came away clean. I used it again and again over the next few days and am pleased that it not only cleanses my skin but it leaves it super soft and I had no adverse effects from the oil at all.
