So amazingly moisturizing

This is the best cleansing oil that I have ever tried. It removed my makeup so effortlessly and kept my skin feeling so nourished. Ever other thing I use to remove my makeup makes my skin feel dried up and I was so pleasantly surprised that this did not.

Was expecting more from this cleansing oil

I've been wanting to try Shu Uemura's Ultime8 Cleansing Oil for some time now, and thanks to ChickAdvisor I finally got to try it! I have dry skin and use oil cleansers as needed. What I like about this cleanser is that it feels and applies more like a dry oil versus a heavier, greasy kind of oil. It does have a scent to it that smells like a mix of the 8 oils plus some fragrance. The scent is tolerable to me, though I prefer fragrance-free facial products. I had to go to Shu Uemura's website to see how to use this product. I was confused to see Shu Uemura's website state "rinse thoroughly with water and no need for double cleansing", meanwhile the paper that came with my sample said, "the ultimate step in your double cleanse routine". Since I have dry skin, I cleansed with this product only. On the first day, it felt like a light layer of wax was left sitting on the surface of my skin. On the third day, I noticed a soft glow on my skin and my skin did not feel so dry. After the fourth application, my skin appeared to start taking in the oil making my skin look and feel better. I received a sachet-sized sample so I could not use this product for a longer time to see any other benefits. I am on the fence about buying this product as I'm not sure that it does a far more effective job than the oil cleanser I use.

Good but not worth the price

I wanted to give this product a decent amount of time to show results before leaving a review and honestly I’m not overly impressed. For the price of the product and the promises of it I was really hoping for more out of it. It cleans well but you can buy another product that will give the same results as this. #freeproduct

Silky Shu Uemura

I appreciated the chance to try SheUemura Cleansing Oil for free but I have to say that it was such a small sample it is hard to do this product justice. In order to review a product properly I feel we should have a proper size to try. I tried the cleansing oil and found it to take off my makeup easily. I like that. I would like to try a larger sample before I consider buying it.

Leaves skin super supple

I have been using this cleansing oil for a couple of weeks and I’m still in awe how supple and clean it leaves my face feeling. I use a few drops for my entire face and it cleans any makeup and impurities effectively. My face doesn’t feel greasy afterwards. It’s very light with a pleasant fragrance.

Very luxurious

I was very impressed by how well this cleansing oil removed my makeup! I used with with waterproof mascara and it really helped break it up fast! And it didn’t irritate my eyes! The smell and texture of this oil is very luxurious it’s not too thick or thin the perfect consistency. And a little goes a very long way. Outstanding Product

I loved this cleansing oil. My face felt so soft after using it. The scent was nice and not overpowering. Ten plus! Will be buying more in the future.

Beautiful light cleansing oil

Thanks @thisisbutterly for this very generous sample of the Shu Uemura ultime8♾️ beyond cleansing product. I have never heard of this brand before and used it as soon as a could. This is a nice light cleansing oil with 8 essential oils. Beautiful light fragrance. All you need are about 4 drops massaged in your hand and apply to dry skin, massage over dry face and add a little water to emulsify until it turns milky, rinse thoroughly with water. Perfection!
