Not for me

The cleansing oil doesn’t seem like it’s an item for me. After using it I have to wash my face and scrub it to get rid of the residue. I also had to wash more of the makeup of my face (mainly the mascara that smeared everywhere). Maybe I used it wrong, but at the end of the day it’s not a product for me.

Nice Product

I enjoyed this product and would recommend it. I enjoyed the finish it left feeling on my face and the texture was lovely. The smell was nice as well.

Feels great

I really enjoyed trying this cleansing oil as part of my double cleansing routine. My skin felt excellent after. I have combination skin and it felt really nice not to feel “tight” after couple cleansing.

It maybe a good product

To begin, my sample was really small and the instructions where in Japanese. So to say I had one use and hadn’t a clue how much I should be using and when is the best time (Morning/Night) to use it.
I choose to use first thing this morning, I poured the oil in my palm and gently applied to my face. I waited 1 minute before rinsing and drying my face. I found afterwards my face felt soft but really dry. To provide the best review I feel like I would have to sample the shu uemura ultimate 8 for 1-2 weeks.

Cleanses skin

Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil cleanses very well and goes on with a smooth, silky texture. I recommend using this to remove makeup or if you have oilier skin. I found it to be an effective cleanser but somewhat drying.

Too oily!

I received Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil - 50 ml from butterly for free! I loved the smell when its pleasent and it cleanses the skin perfectly removing all the makeup very easily but i felt there’s too much oil left on skin after which I didn’t really appreciate! I would rather like a not so oily finish. I think people with dry skin might appreciate it more. #tryShuUemura

Great product

I have dry, sensitive skin. This product didn't make me break out or have any irritation, while still giving me some great hydration. Will be purchasing this in the future so I can see how it works on my skin more long term.

Review:
I have combination, acne-prone, sensitive skin, so I wasn't quite sure how this product was going to work with my skin type. I feared massive breakouts, BUT thankfully, this did not happen! Phew! It felt a bit odd using oil to cleanse my skin, but it worked very well! My skin felt nicely hydrated afterwards and it removed all signs of makeup. I did notice a bit of excess oiliness on my skin after, so I ended up double cleaning. It also has a bit of a stronger scent, but it wasn't an unpleasant one.

Sometimes oil and oily, do mix well! 😎

Quick and easy

I work in an office where I am wearing a full face of makeup. After I finish my work day first thing I do is change into comfy clothes and wash my makeup off. This product has made it easy to get my make up off quick and easy. It also has a nice smell
