Smells nice and effective

Got to try it from Butterly and I got to say I am impressed by it. The smell is not too fragrant and it feels gentle on my skin. Breaks down the makeup and dirt quick. Not too much is needed. My face doesn't feel greasy after and doesn't dry my skin out like some make up removers does. The overall feel of my skin isn't as rough after a few uses.

Feels quite nice

I really liked how the product felt & smelled. My skin did feel very nice after too.
It cleansed well but it didn’t get all of my foundation off some of the times I used it.
I used a makeup wipe after to see and there was still makeup that came off on that , so that’s how I know there was some still on.
It would be nice to have the instructions on the free sample package instead of having to look them up. Overall product was good but maybe need to wash twice with it or I just didn’t use enough product when cleansing .

Shu Uemura cleansing oil

I had the opportunity to try a 4ml sample of the She Uemura Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil from Butterly and I really enjoyed it!

Although I was hoping to receive a bigger sample to have a better review I found that a little product goes a long way.
After using the cleansing oil twice left my skin feeling hydrated, refreshed.
Overall, great product!
I would just recommend adding instructions on the product to make it easier for the individual using the product.

Too oily

I absolutely did not like this product. It felt way too oily when applied on my skin and it certainly didn't cleanse my skin. Sample size was enough for 2 uses. But both times i had to grab my regular cleanser to re wash my face.
I would also never purchase this product, simply because how much it's priced for.

I was pretty excited when I used this product. The oil itself cleansed really well and removed waterproof mascara quickly. However it didn't emulsify as easily as other oils I have used and the strong scent caused some mild irritation to my skin.

Pretty good

Didn’t take a lot of product to be effective on my skin. A little pricey for my budget since I don’t wear daily make up as much as I used to. Skin was very soft after use.

Way too greasy for me

received this sample free from @butterly and ShuUemura who doesn’t have an apparent hash tag or at.. in exchange for my honest review. Honestly. I have dry skin. Most of y’all know I live in Canada where it’s cold most of the year. This product just wasn’t for me.. I received a small sachet to sample. I used it over 3 days. It left my skin greasy and gross and it wasn’t for me. I removed any make up and all products prior to using and still just didn’t work for me.. it left my skin sticky, greasy and just gross.. I’m hoping I don’t break out cuz of this..

Shu Uemura cleansing oil

I really enjoyed using this product. It felt great in my skin and left it feeling very soft. It wasn’t greasy at all. The only reason for 4 stars was it was hard to read the label. I had to contact the company for instructions for how to apply it.

Gentle yet effective oil cleanser

I received this complimentary sample from @thisisbutterly @chickadvisor @shuuemura to review. With the amount that I received, I've only been able to use it 2-3 times sparingly 😅

At first I wasn't so sure how this product would fit into my skincare routine, but several others have been helpful and mentioned it's good as a make up remover. So I trialed and used it to remove mascara, eyeliner, foundation and on a general day - sunscreen. Since it was an oil, I was careful not to use too much at once (feared it would be too oily) but quickly found that a little does go a long way! It was quick to remove make up but was gentle on the skin 😉 It left my skin feeling supple and clean 💦 !

This cleanser is nourishing and effective, but seeing the price tag while browsing online 🫣... I'm probably not as likely to purchase the full sized product 🤔. It was great to be able to try it though !

Effective cleansing oil for winter months

Effective cleansing oil but I find it too greasy especially for summer days. It removes make-up well but I don’t like the feeling of the oil on my face and I find it messy to apply.
