Light and moisturizing

This is a light cleansing oil with a fresh floral fragrance. To test this cleansing oil, I made sure that I tested following a day of wearing foundation, blush, lipstick and mascara. I washed my face with a small amount of the cleansing oil twice to make sure that all make up was removed and my face was thoroughly clean. My face felt light, fresh and clean (but not squeaky clean), and freshingly moisturized.
The picture enclosed shows my face with make up and my face being washed with just the cleansing oil and no moisturizer or serums on.
While the product works well, and it's light refreshing product, I personally wouldn't spend the money on this product with other affordable oil cleansers that work great as well.

Good stuff

This is the first time I have used a cleansing oil and I was pleasantly surprised. It's hard to go wrong with a Shu Uemura product, they seem to never disappoint. This product definitely left my skin feeling super clean, soft and moisturized. I would def recommend this, especially to those that have had reservations about using a cleaning oil.

Love this oil!

This oil is amazing! It helps my skin out so much! This is added to my facial and skin routine! My pores seem so much better! This is definitely a go to product!

Love it!

I can honestly say that I loved this product so much! I was concerned about using an oil to cleanse my skin but I can say that this cleansing oil lathered up like a soap and left my skin feeling refreshed and clean after a long day. It removed all makeup and impurities from my skin at the end of the day. Definitely a must have and recommend for sure!

Nothing special

Cleansing oils aren't for everyone...I generally prefer cleansing soap bars and face washes that leave my skin feeling squeaky clean and dry so that I can slather it with moisturizers. This cleansing oil comes in a hard plastic which makes it slightly difficult to dispense; the product comes out of the small opening of the flip top but not enough so that I squeeze the hard plastic (which isn't easy) to get more oil into my hand.
I enjoy the lovely scent that is soft and calming but not something you would only find from Shu Uemera. Cleansing oils don't lather or create suds, but this one barely gets milky; when I rub the oil onto my skin, it seems to absorb and it doesn't feel like it's getting cleansed off. Though my skin does not feel oily nor dry after use, I've noticed more imperfections being emphasized and some pimples coming through. I can't be sure that it's the cleansing oil but it's the only change in my skincare routine. This is definitely not a cleansing oil I would keep in my routine - I have used much more effective oils that remove makeup and leave my skin feeling clean but not dry. Having the product in a pump would be better for dispensing and I think the price is higher than my more effective, preferred brands.

Moisturizing

Its super easy to use and makes your skin feel soft and clean after you use it I also love the scent of it and the cute container it comes in. Definitely would recommend

The best cleansing oil!

Usually I’m extremely disappointed in cleansing oils I purchase and I’m always switching brands. However, I think I found my new favorite. It’s very lightweight and I can already see the difference in my skin. I can’t wait to purchase more.

I liked the consistency of the oil, removed all traces of makeup and left my skin nice & soft but it wasn’t the best one for my skin as it left red and irritated.

Cluts

I wasn’t able to accurately review this. I used it one time and it seemed quite nice. I dumped the majority of the same by accident when I opened it and only got to use it the one time. I was so excited but I’m a geek😭
