Didn't work effectively

I really didn’t like this cleansing oil. I never felt that my skin was clean after using it. I always had to wash my face again with another product after. I loved the scent but it was just too greasy and didn’t feel like I was doing anything good for my skin.

Love this !

I love this cleansing oil ! It leaves your skin feeling fresh new and light. You do not even feel the oil on your skin unlike other oil products that seem to be heavy.

Good for double cleansing

I have very picky skin that hates change. I am a long double cleanser and have been using my go to product for years but was excited to try the Ultime8. Overall I was very happy with it. I did see some small breakouts in the first few days of trying it in places that are very unlike my skin to breakout. I powered through and after two weeks my skin is quite content with it.
I am not a huge fan of the smell of it personally. It isn’t particularly strong or lingering, but I do nnot care for the smell. I also found that by itself, it did not clean my makeup, products, etc off as effectively as other brands and my skin felt slick afterwards. This wasn’t an issue as I double cleanse with a gentle cleaner but I wouldn’t recommend using it by itself versus in conjunction with another cleanser. I also find this product on the expensive side when there are wonderful oil cleansers for significantly less expense.
Overall it’s a good product and I am happy I got to try it and will absolutely use every drop. I will however, return to my go to oil cleanser as I like the scent, how it makes my skin feel, how well it cleans and the price point.

fantastic facial oil cleanser

The ultime8∞ sublime beauty cleansing oil leaves the skin soft, smoother and moisturized. It has a delicate luxurious scent. A little goes a long way. Washes makeup away while leaving the skin hydrated.

Smells and works great!

I absolutely love this cleansing oil. Smells so nice and works well for my skin makes it so smooth and shiny. I apply it before applying my makeup it has a cleansing and moisturizing effect on my skin.

Felt amazing

This was a great product. It melted all of my makeup off, including my tough mascara. It left my skin so soft. I would definitely recommend this. It had a nice light fresh scent too.

cleansing oil

Used the sample that was provided and being a cleansing oil I wasnt sure about it. But not a messy product, easy to use and the skin does feel clean and non greasy. Would buy it one more time to use on a longer time frame to see if I would add it to my regular shopping list for facial cleansing.

Great Cleansing Oil

I had the opportunity to try a Sachet of the Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil from Butterly and I really enjoyed it!
I was quite impressed with the actual product – the Sachet was small but was able to get 2 uses out of it – and this is my review based on the amount of uses and experience with the actual product.

You don’t need to much of the cleansing oil – as a little goes a long way in removing all the stuff from your face.
It was quite hydrating and left my skin feeling refreshed after use.
The texture and scent were very nice.

There was no directions for use on the Sachet Sample so I had to find out how to use it from their website.

Overall, it was agood product and would consider purchasing in the future.

Good cleanser

It's a good cleanser and is effective in removing makeup and impurities. The smell is great, I love it!
Despite being an oil, it does not leave the skin greasy or cause acne. After being removed with water, it does not leave the face dry or stiff.
The only thing is that I received a 4ml sachet sample of this product with no instructions included, so I had to go to their website to find out.
It's a good product, but I prefer a liquid cleanser instead of oil.

Good all around product but pricey!

I used Shu Uemura's Ultimate 8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil for the past few weeks because I wanted to see if it was really worth the price tag ($106 for 450mLs!). While I found this to be a nice multipurpose cleansing oil, I honestly wouldn't buy it again for the cost factor. It worked well as a cleansing oil and even removed makeup from the previous night that I thought I had properly removed. It works like a charm for removing makeup (much better than Micellar water) and as a moisturizer. I even used it on my sunburnt face to combat the tightness I felt as it was healing. Yes, yes, I know. Wear sunscreen next time. It was never irritating to my sensitive skin and a little of the oil goes a long way. I'm hesitant to recommend this to anyone because there are many cleansing oils on the market that work just as well and cost a fraction of the price.
