Love this

I've always loved Shu Uemura cleansing oils. They glide on the skin so easily and it does a great job at cleansing the skin in a gentle way. It never irritated my skin and a little goes a long way! I recieved this product free to try for my review.

Took off majority of my makeup

I received a free foil sachet to try of the Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil and used it to remove a full day of face makeup. I found it worked fairly well and removed almost all of it. I tested this by going over my face with a makeup wipe aftward and it picked up very little remainder. Due to the perfume scent, I chose not to use this to remove my eye makeup as I have very sensitive eyes. I prefer unscented cleansers and skin products, but this had a floral scent that was fairly prominent. If you do not like floral scents, this is probably not for you. Thankfully it did not linger after rinsing or cause any irritation. Despite being an oil, I did not find my skin oily (or dry!) aftward, nor did I feel any leftover residue or stickiness. My skin felt soft and hydrated, and also very clean. Since this was only a foil sample, I cannot speak to any longterm benefits. This cleanser, so far, has done what it promises. #tryShuUemura

Loving it!

This cleansing oil has a lovely scent and a little goes a long way! It removed all of my makeup without leaving a residue and was the perfect first step to my nightly double cleanse. Would recommend if you can afford it.

Not my fave...

I was gifted a sample of this oil cleanser to test out, I don't think the one sachet was enough to give it a fair try, so feel free to take this with a grain of salt. I've tried quite a few different oil cleansers/balms (farmacy, tatcha, dhc, innisfree) for taking off my makeup (mind you, I'm a full coverage kind of gal so I need the cleanser to put in the work lol) but I just found that the shu uemura one wasn't thick enough for me. When I poured it onto my hands it looked very thin, almost like a serum/water which I found kind of odd, but I put it on my makeup filled face with dry hands and it did start breaking down the makeup, but I felt that once I finished breaking it down and rinsing it off, there was still quite a bit of makeup left, whereas with my current oil cleansers that isn't necessarily the case. I do double cleanse but using this product felt like I needed to do more to get my skin clean. Personally, I'll stick with my current oil cleanser.

Little clumsy to use

Its too oily, hard to apply because of the creams consitency , need to be more thick, smell is good, i had hard time washing it off, agter it washing off i had hard time seeing my vision got blurry,

Good product!

This cleansing oil by Shu Uemura is an excellent product. It has good quality in general; using that I can remove the makeup very easily and I hadn't any damage to my skin.

Cleanser

Love this oil cleanser, it keeps my face hydrated and soft without being oily its suitable for sensitive skin and didnt cause breakouts I definitely recommend

Surprisingly good cleansing oil!

Got this as a #freesample from @Butterly. I was skeptical to try this at first because my face usually break out as my skin is oily and anything that is oily break me out. This literally clean my makeup off with no problem. Left my skin feeling very smooth and soft. The scent isn't so overpowering so this is good for anyone with sensitive to a smell!

Heavy fragrance

I wouldn’t recommend this product. The smell is very overwhelming and unpleasant smelling. I prefer neutral or no scent at all and the scent just makes this product unbearable to use.

Perfect Cleanser to remove your make-up

I liked this product as I am having a dryness on my skin. After 1 day with make-up, it is easy to remove with this cleanser without making any dryness in your skin. Also, it moisturize your skin evenly.
