Liked it but didn’t love it

I have tried this out for a few days now and all I can really say is I like it but didn’t love it. Nothing jumped out at me and made me want to purchase it. I did get it as a free sample to try in exchange for an honest reviews.
I have combination skin and felt some part of my face felt hydrated but not other parts of my face. It did remove make up pretty well but no different then some other brands I have tried.
I hardly smelt anything for a scent, so that part would be great for people with sensitivities to strong scents. I myself like something with a stronger scent.
Also another huge thing for me is the price. When I’m those prices for an item it’s because I LOVE it not just like it. So unfortunately I would pass on this one.

When I try a product like this, I note its performance by the way ut removes mascara. This is perfect! a sweet mix between efficency and softness, this is what any woman with sensitive skin needs!!

Super smooth

Shu Uemura's ultime8 cleansing oil dissolves makeup easily and feels super luxurious on the sin. Have loved this brand for a while and super excited to have received this to try out!

oil cleanser that’s not greasy

This is a really nice oil cleanser that isn’t at all greasy. Doesn’t leave my skin feeling gross afterwards. No strong scent. Quite nice.

Lightweight and Luxurious

I love the texture of this cleansing oil. It's not overly heavy or oily, but very lightweight and thin in consistency. It glides on the face effortlessly with not even the slightest tugging or pulling either. My only downside with this oil is the fragrance. I really don't like how this oil smells and find it a little too strong for me. It melted my mascara and sunscreen very easily. It also emulsifies nicely under lukewarm water then I follow it up with a second gentle cleanse to get everything off. Overall, it works well for its intended purpose.

Nice product

This is a good cleansing oil. My skin is dry so it appreciates the oil (probably not good for acne prone skin). Smell is nice and product seems to do what it says!

Luxurious!

I received a very small sample so I can’t comment on the long term effects but upon first try I can say this felt silky and luxurious on my skin. It has a nice light scent and left my skin feeling buttery soft.

I was given the opportunity to try Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil made by Shu Uemura, thanks to @thisisbutterly, @chickadvisor and @shuuemura.

I’ve haven’t tried many oil based cleansers, but this one definitely left my face feeling really lovely. It didn’t leave a heavy oily residue, which I was kind of expecting. I thought that I would really only want to use this in the winter months when everything is so dry, but here I am, wanting to use it every day in the middle of the summer heat!!

With regard to removing makeup, works alright. If I had to rate it …Like 3.75/5. Pushes it around a bit, so you have to make sure to really wash your face. I noticed each time I needed to do multiple applications, but at the same time, it felt nice on the face to do so! I can imagine it works really well for hard to remove make up!! It would take it off with ease.

Overall, I would use this product again. I feel like it’s ideal for nighttime use, and for removing any heavy make up. I think use in winter would be better than in the summer, but at the same time I think it’s fine to use any time, and all the time. I didn’t experience any breakouts and my face was always left feeling refreshed and comfortable!

Hesitant about oil cleaners but really liked this

This is my first time using an oil based cleanser as I’ve always been hesitant to try them. However, I really like this cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated. I like the smell, too.
