Small sample but good product!

I k on not got one use from the sample sachet, which makes it hard to write a review. The one use I did get went over pretty well. I like that there wasn’t a strong scent to the product. And the cleansing oil also felt nice on the skin and left my face feeling clean and fresh

Like Cashmere!

This cleansing oil smells like a garden full of fresh blooms sprinkled with baby powder!!

It removed all makeup and SPF from my face almost immediately, however, it’s too oily for my oily/combo skin.
Plus, with the summertime heat, it’s not a good option for me at this time.

I did have to wash my face with my regular facial cleanser to remove the oily residue.

It works effectively at cleansing and hydrating my skin, and left it soft and dewy.

Incredible ingredients and a very gentle formula.

Shu Uemura Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil Review

I received this product to test from Butterly, as such I cannot speak on the long term use of this product.
I had never used a cleansing oil before so I was pretty excited to be selected to try this out! As I only had a single use sample I wanted to try it when I had a full face of makeup on - what better time to try that than with a full face of bridal party makeup.
First impression was that the smell was not unpleasant, but also not something to my liking (personal preference, does not speak of the effectiveness).
I used the oil as directed and was very impressed at how well, and fast, it melted my makeup off - including my budgeproof lipstick and waterproof mascara. I was even more impressed when I noticed it appeared to have also removed all traces of the glue on my lashline from my falsies. My skin felt squeaky clean after rinsing off!
The only downfalls of this were that it did irritate my eyes a bit and leave them a bit pink (I do have fairly sensitive skin and eyes thigh, and it was gone by morning) and my face felt quite oily in the morning (I did not use any other products after this as I wanted to see how my skin reacted to just this product) but I do have combination skin so it would definitely work well for anyone with a drier complexion!

Good Cleansing Oil

I received a free sample of Shu Uemura’s Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil in exchange for my honest review. It was my first time trying a cleansing oil and I’m honestly impressed! I only needed a few drops to fully remove my makeup. The oil emulsified really well under water, so my face was left feeling soft, moisturized, and not oily at all. It also has a nice, subtle floral scent which I really like!

Works very well but scented

This was my first time trying a cleansing oil and I was very happy with how well it worked. I expected to need a second cleanse, as is my routine after makeup, but none was necessary. I felt as if it removed all the makeup and dirt and didn't leave any oily residue as my previous cleansing stick had. However, it is scented and while not totally overwhelming, the scent doesn't disappear after it is washed off and is just a bit too much for me. I was very pleased to have been sent the sample and think this would be a go to product if it were unscented and a bit cheaper than what is listed. However, the tiny sachet did work for three uses for me, so a little goes a long way.

Great product

I think this could be a great product but the sample I was sent was basically a one time use. Very difficult to give a honest review based on one day of use. That being said felt nice on my face. Smell was pleasant and not offensive.

Oh so fancy! Lol I love it actually. Smells good. Feels good. Gonna have to go buy more to see the full results. But it felt very nice on my sensitive skin.

Pleasantly Surprised

I got the chance to try Sublime Beauty cleansing oil. It doesn't lather up like a soap and you will have to use a generous amount. The fragrance isn't overpowering. At first, I was afraid that I would breakout or have a reaction but neither occurred. Plus, my skin looked really healthy the following morning. Another review has described it as "soft" in appearance. Luxurious and worth the prestigious price tag. Personally, I am gonna stay with my current makeup remover or choose a drugstore alternative. I prefer something with more of a lather. I'm not a big fan of the orange bottle but the results were a pleasant surprise. Not sure if it will last.

Disappointing that it was a small simple overall it took my eye makeup off

Great Cleansing Oil!

This is a great cleansing oil compared to others I have tried. It's not thick oil . The smell is clean. I did seem to have to use a little more to get mascara off but it did just melt my makeup right off. Rinses clean. Left my skin feeling refreshed and smooth. No greasy or oily feel.
