Just OK for me

I’ve discovered I’m not a fan of oil cleansers! While this Shu Uemura Ultimate Sublime Cleansing Oil left my face feeling smooth and silky, I’m not sure it actually cleansed my face. I prefer a foaming cleanser as it actually feels like it’s cleaning. I didn’t get that feeling from this oil. It does have a lovely scent and as I said, it left my skin feeling silky smooth.

A whole new level of cleansing...

Shu uemura's ultime8 cleansing oil really does take you beyond just cleansing.

Infused with Japanese camelia oil, squalane and ginseng, this oil cuts through the toughest of makeup with minimal effort all while keeping skin hydrated, soft and nourished.

My experience: This oil has a lovely mild scent. I applied the ultime8 using a reusable cleansing pad after wearing a full face of makeup (including both primer and setting spray) in order to truly put it to the test. It cut through the layers of makeup with one to two gentle circular strokes in each area. Even my metallic shimmer eyeshadow was no match for the emulsifying power of Shu uemura!

After makeup removal, cleansing and my usual hydration routine my face felt so refreshed and soft. This oil is pure luxury!

Fantastic Cleansing Oil

It’s easily to clean all the coverage on my face. It hydrated my face and don’t feel any dryness after. And it smell so good too. Love it.I will buy it.

Great product

You can see that the bottle was a little hard to read, and there were no instructions on it, but after a quick google search, it was actually really easy to use.

I added a few drops to my hands, massaged it into my palms, gently rubbed the oil onto my face, and rinsed it thoroughly off.

It took off my makeup so easily, and left my face feeling so soft. The smell is a strong floral scent, and may be offputting to some who do not enjoy scented face products.

Definitely worth a try!

Washes away eye makeup

This was received as a free sample and I tried this over 3 days. My skin is sensitive and this was fine with my skin. It is a light texture and easy to massage into skin. Has a ginger like scent which was nice. Easy to rinse off and left my skin moisturized. Its something to use for a gentle aromatherapy and self facial massage.

Nighttime Routine

Love how my face felt after cleansing it. It went on light and my face felt so smooth after. My face broke out after first time use, not sure if it was from the product or hormones. Would definitely use this again.

Cleanses so good

It really cleanses your skin and leaving it smooth and very soft. It removes all the residue of make up in your skin. I really love it and will definitely recommend to my friends and relatives.

Not a fan

Products has a very nice smell and texture. Gives my skin the hydration it needed and it didn't felt greasy. But was not very effective to take off the makeup, as it is mark to do. Receive a tiny sample to try so maybe i'd learn how to use it in the long run if i had receive more. Plus, there were no instruction on the package. The bottle of the product is also very expensive, so i'd keep using my normal cleanser i know works best for me and cost below 30$.

The sample was too small to give aproper review. I worked out great to remove makeup, but weather or not it will help on osme of the Ani aging in the skin, i dont don't..

Leaves skin soft and clean

Great cleanser to remove dirt and make-up. Leaves the skin really soft and smooth, and feels refreshed. Would definately purchase again in the future.
