Not a bad product
I tried this cleansing oil and have decided that it's just ok. It works pretty good removing dirt but I did find that it left my skin with a bit of a residue. It was a bit difficult to get off but overall this product left my skin feeling soft
Amazing
The cleansing oil removed all the makeup very easily without leaving my skin dry and irritated. It also removed mascara and lip tint very easily. I would definitely recommend and use this product on regular basis
Not impressed
Well the packaging was too small. I had the opportunity to use it only twice this week. I haven’t seen any results. I didn’t like the smell of it either. Definitely it’s not for me.
Amazing
i loved this! it really helped my skin and it was so soft after i used it. i will definitely be recommending it and buying it again for future use!!!!!
Beauty cleansing oil
I really liked this product I wish it came with alittle more but other than that it felt great on my skin and actually didn’t leave my face oily at all I would recommend this to a friend or family
It’s okay
It’s as effective as regular oil like olive or coconut oil although it is less greasy once rinsed off. I found it irritated the eye area slightly—for that reason it wouldn’t be worth buying. It has a slight smell and not too offensive but be careful when using as it’s very fluid and will drop onto the floor/clothes and it will be quite unsafe if you slip on it. I ended up using my regular makeup wipes to remove the remaining eye makeup. Oil formula/regular cooking oil is best for heavier makeup on the face, I would try to use it directly on a cotton pad for easier use. I received a sample of the Shu Uemura oil.
Nice face wash
Used as a first cleanse and it worked wonderfully to remove my make up and SPF. I would use this product again in the future, once I am done using my normal cleanser I will repurchase the sample I received.
One of the best
I've received this sample for free courtesy of Butterly/Chickadvisor and Shu Uemura in exchange for my honest review.
I prefer oil cleansers to remove makeup so I am very knowledgeable when we talk oil cleansers. She Uemura is one of the first brands to sell oil cleansers ( if not the first one) . I find that a good oil cleanser works the best for moving mascaras and heavy makeup. Ultime8 by Shu Uemura doesn't disappoint, it cleans well, it's not heavy and dissolves with water beautifully. After rinsing, my face is smooth and hydrated , not dry.
Okay cleanser
I tried this cleanser with removing makeup and it didn’t remove all makeup. However it left my skin feeling really nice and soft, and radiant. I would use this as a morning cleanser for sure, but not for end of day. It is scented and while I don’t love the scent it doesn’t linger.
Nice light feeling cleanser
I was given the opportunity to test shu uemura's ultime8 cleanser. I thought the cleanser was effective in cleaning both completely clear (no make up) skin which is my usual, as well as a full face of makeup. Cleansing makeup took the extra step of using cotton pads soaked in oil to wipe across my eyes and lips, however it rinsed clean with no residue left on my pure white towel (the ultimate test).
I liked the oil blend used, but could leave the parfum to make it even better!
The brown plastic bottle also left something to be desired as I struggled to read the ingredient list printed in thin black ink.
Overall I enjoyed using the product as it left my skin feeling and looking good with very minimal effort!
