Loved the smell and feel of the Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil on my skin. Left my skin smooth and hydrated without looking oily and wet. Great product.

I am a huge fan of double cleansing as it helps break down makeup, sunscreen and impurities from the day. This cleansing oil was so luxe and the perfect start to my nighttime skin routine. A little goes a long way and I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't experience any eye stinging that can be associated with this step, especially when trying to remove mascara! This product does have a fragrance associated with it, a bit more perfumed than I prefer but it was quite subtle after finishing my routine. The best part was how soft and clean it left my face, ready for the second wash step. This was my first introduction to J-Beauty and I already feel spoiled by this high end product. I'd absolutely recommend this product to someone who is looking to invest in an oil cleanser for the first step in their night routine and looking to treat themselves to a prestigious product.

No lather

I've used cleaning oils that lather and I thought this one was like that but it isn't. It helps with hydration but it's not very practical for me personally.

Ultime8 clean

pI've been using different oils to remove my makeup for some time now and I was pleased to be selected to try out this Shu Uemura product! Cleansing with this oil was a great way to remind myself to be gentle as this product removed stubborn lip product and mascara without me having to scrub. That in itself makes for a winning product because as I get older the skin on my face is getting a lot more sensitive and it doesn't take much to aggravate it.

The Shu Uemura cleansing oil has a light fragrance and feels so luxurious as you spread it across your face. Take a washcloth and run it under hot water, wring it out and lay it on your face for a bit for the heat to soak in. Gently remove product and voila! Heavenly.

No residue. Effortless clean. Love the skin you're in!

Love

At first i was very hesitant on using this product as i have oily skin, and it really doesn't include instructions. After some googling i found the best way to use it. I found after cleansing my face i would go a second time with the cleansing oil and rinse followed by serums and moisturizer. The key is to only use this product before bed. After a couple days of finding the right way to use it i would recommend this anyone looking to boost their kinds hydration.

Great make up remover

I got this product for free from butterly and chickadvisor for my honest review. I so love this product and this is the easiest thing to use to remove your make up! Just massage a good amount in your face and your make up will be wiped off even for waterproof. Its very gentle on skin.

Surprisingly Effective

I was skeptical that an oil would clean my face without leaving it oily, but this is quite surprising. It emulsifies and rinses of my face really well, and takes off my makeup just as effectively as the micellar water I had been using. It doesn't leave my face oily after either.

Something new to try

I’ve been sent a small sample packet of this product to try. I tend to stray away from added oils to facial products, however was curing to see how this worked. The product does cleanse quite well, and leaves skin feeling soft a luscious. I can’t speak for long term effects as I’ve received a small amount of product, however after initial use, I would recommend this cleanser.

New fave cleansing oil

This is by far my favourite cleansing oil that I've ever tried! Shu Uemura makes wonderful products and this is another one of theirs! It feels so luxurious!
