Gentle, without any scent

Sachet provided was just enough for one use - I found the product to be quite fluid-like, gentle on the skin, and not have any scent. After cleansing, skin felt soft to the touch and clean. I'm not sure if I would purchase this product again, as the results didn't differ from Cerave.

Gives the face a great gentle cleanse but...

This cleansing oil feels great and silky on the skin. I really enjoyed washing it off and it truly didn't leave any residue, while leaving the face very soft. However, it didn't remove mascara. There were still smudges of it after I rinsed the oil off so I used an eye makeup remover afterward. Despite that, the oil felt really nice on the skin before and after, so it might work well for someone with light makeup, or maybe remove the eye makeup first. Received as a free sample. Thank you, Butterly and Shu Uemura for the chance to try this!

Nourishing cleansing oil

I liked this cleaning oil. It's gentle and effective. My face is hydrated and feels younger and smoother. It's scent is so amazing and refreshing. Scent is so fresh .

Silky smooth

I absolutely loved this product. There was a generous amount in my free sample, enough for me to use at least twice. The cleansing oil smelled sublime and went on silky smooth like butter. It is clear, so no artificial dyes, which is a nice bonus. There was no resistance at all removing my makeup, the oil broke it down with ease and everything wiped off just as easily. The best part, it does not leave my face feeling oily and gross like I need to wash it. It also got in my eye a bit (I always tend to do this) but unlike other cleansing oils, it did not burn my eyes or blur my vision. I did not know who this company was before this sample but I will definitely be purchasing in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

Felt great!

I only had enough sample to try it once and it felt great.I did not have enough to persuade me to switch what I already use and did not find it any better but if you are looking for a product, I recommend it:)

A wonderfully effective cleansing oil!

I really enjoyed using the shu uemura cleansing oil! It left my skin feeling super soft, but almost with a matte finish. I highly recommend cleansing oils such as this one, especially for those of you with dry skin! So glad I got this sample !

Nice Cleansing Oil

The texture and smell of the Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil is quite nice and it leaves the skin feeling very fresh. The texture is like a typical cleansing oil.

It's ok

I'm always curious about cleansing oils, but I think at the end of the day it's just not my cup of tea. I feel like it doesn't really cleanse. This one didn't leave any oiliness behind, but I did have to give my face a few good rinses. It did leave my skin feeling soft after, but that's about it. Will stick with my foaming cleanser.

Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil

I received this product as a sample. I was a bit concerned about using a cleansing oil for the first time, that I may break out. Well, that didn’t happen! I used a reusable make up pad and a bit of the oil and my make up came off easy peasy! I love an simple skin care step because there are so many! I did take it easy on my moisturizer after using the oil, and it worked great. My skin was soft and smooth.

Not a fan, it's ok

I didn't like the way it left my skins feeling. The texture is quite similar to most oil cleansers but is faaar to expensive for a facial cleanser. You can get similar quality at lower prices.
