Gorgeous smelling makeup remover that's not oily

I received the Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil sample for free in exchange for an honest review. I have walked past the Shu Uemura beauty desk/shops so many times but have never tried anything (it’s just too expensive), so I’m very thankful and happy to try this Sublime Beauty Cleansing oil. First impression, it smells glorious, kind of like being in a rainforest. I think it’s the Tsubaki flower (Japanese camellia oil) that’s generating the pleasant scent. It’s not very oily, unlike some other brands I’ve used. I used a cotton pad and because it’s a little more watery, I noticed I had to use a bit more to wet the pad. That being said, it was so worth it. Two wipes and my eye make up was gone, and that was waterproof mascara too. Another wipe and my lipstick also came off. Even with a full face of makeup (we had a wedding to go to), it only took 2 cotton pads to clean off everything.

My only small suggestion is to include “how to use” on the bottle or package. Knowing this is a sample, and maybe that’s why there isn’t any instructions. It’s like, can I leave it on, because it leaves my skin so soft and smells so good? Can I use it like a moisturizer? I didn’t, since it says it’s a makeup remover, and I followed up with my usual skin cleaning routine. Otherwise what a great product!

Great Cleansing Oil

I received the Shu uemera cleaning oil to test for free from Butterfly. I really loved how clean my skin was after using it and that it left no residue.
Unfortunately, because the size of the sample was so small, I could only get 2 uses of it and can’t comment on the long term benefits to the skin.

Smells amazing and so soft!!

I love this product because it smells so good, goes on smooth and soft, and does the trick to get my makeup off without being rough on my skin. I'll be buying again for sure.

Flawless makeup removal

This flawlessly removed makeup and though I had a natural look today I purposely was heavy on foundation and concealer, and used a lot of setting spray to put this to the true test. I also always have eyelash glue on my eyelids even after several washes and scrubbing, this product however removed all traces of glue without scrubbing. It was very very oily and thin and I was concerned about feeling greasy but after wiping my skin gently and allowing to air dry my skin feels hydrated but not greasy and it also looks very nice.

As someone who uses makeup almost daily I’ll be purchasing this as my main cleanser, I love that I can be far more gentle while washing and get a more thorough cleanse.

Good for dry skin

I like this option for dry skin. As I've gotten older, my skin has gotten so much drier. It goes on nicely, and is very easy to wash off. When I first put it on, I though 'Oh how will I get all this oil off!', but it just rinses off with water. Left my skin feeling nice and soft and smooth.

Amazing Oil

This oil is amazing. It smells great, removed any makeup I had on, and made my skin feel moisturized. I thought it may leave it feeling oily, but it felt great.

Great Product

It works really great as a cleansing oil. I like my face skin feels clean and smooth after using it. It removes makeup efficiently without greasy feeling. The light and pleasant scent makes me feel like a spa experience at home. Definitely recommend.

Great Product, Too much money

I really liked this serum, it made my skin very soft and supple....However, I wouldn't purchase this as I don't feel it's worth the value. If I had the money I would

High-End Product That Works

Trying a new cleanser is hard, especially if you have sensitive skin, which is why I was pleasantly surprised that this sublime cleansing oil did a great job without causing any breakouts. It didn't leave behind any residue and my skin felt soft afterwards.

Seemed like a great product!

I received this product to test for free from butterly. It was only a small sample so I was only able to use a small amount. It worked rather well though! I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a product such as this that is comfortable spending the price point it is at.
