Not for me

This product was not something is personally use again. I do realize it is a cleansing oil but I can't get past the greasy feeling while using it. The scent kind of threw me off as well, very herbal smelling but not pretty herbal, like grandmas salve. I didn't care for it at all. It works well to take makeup off but lots of products do and aren't as expensive.

Just okay

I got to try this for free. It was only okay. It wasn't anything special compared to other products out there. I only had a small sample to try so unsure on how effective it is in the long term. It was a decent cleanser though

Not my thing

I didnt like this product as it didnt really work for me and made my skin feel dry and flakey not something i would use again though it does smell good

Cleansing oil needs more slip

While I found the cleansing oil overall to be okay, there were some issues with it that would not lead me to purchase. The scent of the oil was pleasant at first however the scent then changed after applying/massaging into the skin. More importantly found that there was not enough slip (or slippery-ness) to the oil when applying, and it was a bit too thick.

Not for oily skin

I received this cleanser as a complimentary sample to try. I have oily skin and I found that a few pimples formed on my face after using it. I wasn't sure what to expect but it looks/feels like an oil that you rub on your face as a cleanser. It doesn't foam. I typically don't have sensitive skin but this product is not for me. #tryShuUemura

Not very effective

I received a free sachet sample of this that contained 4ml of the cleansing oil. I assume this to be a recommended usage size. I used it to try and remove a full coverage full face makeup and it was not as effective as I had hoped. After cleansing and using a makeup wipe on my face I still had lots of makeup residue on my face, I had to cleanse again with a foaming cleansing wash.

Too small to review

I couldn't try this for multiple days due to the small size of the sample. But I did find it oily and ineffective. I had to rinse repeatedly to rinse off the wash. I prefer a lighter cleanser especially for my face

Greasy

This left my skin feeling extremely greasy and I had to double cleanse afterwards to make the feeling go away. It smelled nice, and it did remove the makeup, but the greasiness was a dealbreaker for me.

Not my favourite

A lot of hype was put on this and I find I am generally disappointed all around. I didn’t enjoy the smell of this and it made me feel greasy. I would not recommend

Too Small of a Sample

While I'd love to give my true opinion on this product, the sample size I was given to review didn't really allow me to know the product to give my full thoughts. The product seemed to work okay but I don't know that I was a huge fan of the product itself. I wasn't sure if the oil actually cleaned my skin or didn't anything to my skin at all.
