Very gentle cleanser!

I’ve never used an oil cleanser before, and so I really didn’t know what to expect with this product. Turns out I rather like it! It’s very mild, both in scent and on the skin. I like that it is an alternative to soap, doesn’t foam very much, and leaves the skin very soft! Overall very cool!

Having never used a cleansing oil before, it was a novel experience using the Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil. Unlike traditional cleansers, this one is oil-based and works to remove makeup and typical dirt and debris that collects on the face throughout the day.

The oil is clear and has a silky feel. The scent is delicate but noticeable, so those with scent sensitivities may need to take this into consideration.

A few drops were enough to cover the whole face and neck; a little added water helped to create a soft lather for better coverage. After rinsing, my skin felt soft and supple with visible hydration. It’s a vast benefit, as I do not like it when cleansers leave the skin feeling tight and parched, even as the skin is thoroughly cleaned.

I have not used this product in conjunction with a double-cleanse, so I cannot comment on its efficacy. However, my makeup was removed without issue the first time, so I did not need to do a second cleanse with any other foaming face wash.

Feels great on my skin

Feels good when used to wash my face, leaves my face feeling moisturized and clean. It is easy to use and has a neutral scent so it is fine for anyone to use.

Effective makeup remover

I poured a bit of the oil on a cotton pad to remove my eye makeup. It took off the eye makeup without much tugging or pullling, just a gentle massage did the trick. The eye area skin felt moisturized after cleaning. It does have a light scent to it that I didn’t care for, hence the one star removal.

Great at removing all makeup

I'm so excited for the opportunity to sample this product as a lot of my friends use this and I've heard a lot of great things about this cleansing oil. I've used this cleansing oil for about a week as part of the 1st cleansing step of my nightly skincare routine. This product does a great job as a 1st cleanser and is able to thoroughly remove my makeup and other products from my skin. This cleansing oil was even able to remove my lip mask, which some of my past cleansing oils failed to remove. It contains 8 essential naturally sourced oils and kept my skin hydrated without feeling oily after cleansing. Loved it and would definitely purchase.

My skin certainly feels soft & absolutely sublime!

Wow! I'm quite impressed with this wonderful cleansing oil! My skin felt amazingly soft after the first time I used it! I've used it for 5 days straight now and I've noticed a significant difference in my face. My skin feels so soft, supple, smooth, clean and hydrated. It just feels very luxurious and sublime... like Cashmere! It breaks down oils and makeup so effortlessly and it doesn't feel greasy afterwards at all. I also love the pleasant, floral scent which is very soothing and calming. It's absolutely lovely all around and it certainly makes a woman feel special and pampered!

Un produit qui m'a surprise

J'ai reçu un échantillon de la part de #Butterly il s'agit d'une huile démaquillante de la marque Shu Uemura. Je suis heureuse de pouvoir l'essayer et de donner mon avis. Je n'étais pas sûr au début de la texture que laisse une huile sur la peau, mais après l'avoir utilisé, j'ai été surprise de voir que la sensation sur la peau est plus comme une huile sèche. L'odeur est douce et agréable et son effet démaquillant est parfait, j'ai la sensation d'une peau bien hydratée et propre. J'ai bien aimé ce produit et je pourrais l'ajouter à ma routine démaquillante sans problème.

Light & Lovely

This cleansing oil is very light, and feels incredibly smooth while applying and my skin felt much smoother afterwards. My face feels clean, make up free and refreshed. The silky feeling is perfect. The oil even smells LOVELY!!

Received sample to #truShuUemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil and liked the experience. I like the idea being to be able to use Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil to both remove make up and being a cleanser. It took me two wipes to remove all the make-up from my face and after that, just rinse with water and done! Simple and still able to achieve the same results with less products and less step. It is enough with only 3-4 drops of the oil to apply for whole face, and the face does not feel too oily. After water rinse my skin still feel nourished and not dry which is added bonus. After massaging the face in circle motion to blend the oil to the make-up, I tried to use the cotton wipes to wipe my face just to see how much make up it is able to remove and it does not disappoint!

Easy and amazing

Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil felt like heaven on my skin. It is easy to use and left my skin feeling soft and clean. It leaves your skin feeling soft afterwards and gets rid of the dirt and oil buildup.
