Oil, who knew?!

I didn't know Shu Uemura makes products for anything other than hair, and that's what I assumed this was for at first. Good thing I noticed it is a face cleaning oil before I used it wrong!
Now, who knew that oil is the way to go to manage an oily complexion? I discovered this only in the past 5 years or so; before that I was still using the same astringent as I had been using since middle school. It amazes me how well cleansing oils cut through not only cosmetics but even just the natural oils on my skin, and how smooth & soft my skin feels afterward.  I find cleansing oils effective and really enjoyable; it's become one of my favorite types of cleanser.

Smells fantastic

Besides smelling amazing, this really works well for melting away my makeup, I've never used a double cleanse before and was concerned the oil would make me breakout, but it didn't. My skin felt clean and hydrated after rinsing and drying. I would recommend this to anyone.

Smoothness

I’m enjoyed using this product very much it was the first time using a cleansing oil and now I’m hooked. It was soothing and mad my skin feel refreshed.

Shu Uemura Ultimate Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil is a great product. It's easy to apply and it makes my skin feel great during and after use. I would recommend.

Better Products Out There

The Shu Uemura 8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil smells so good, it has very little lather, it is easy to wash off and does a pretty good job at removing all my make up, but it left my face dry.

I got to try the shu uemura ultime8 beyond cleansing for free to give it a try and I have to say I really love it. It makes my skin feel so so soft I have tried many different things and this is by far one of the best one’s to make my skin feel so soft and the best part it takes off all your makeup to so you really can’t go wrong with trying this. Non-drying

My skin felt really soft after using it. I usually use make-up wipes, but now I'm seriously considering cleansing oils. It melts all my makeup effortlessly and I don't need to scrub my face to get it off.

Small Sample

Unfortunately I only recieved a very small sample and I feel I wasn't able to test the product adequately. However, from the small amount I tested it did a good job of breaking down my makeup. It didn't leave my face feeling super weighed down or greasy, and I haven't had any new breakouts after using it. I just wish I had more product to test it out more thoroughly.

Pretty good!

It is very very oily and fluid but it instantly just start breaking down the makeup. It did a good job on my mascara and didn’t make my eyes burn or cause any sensitivity. When you add some water it does emulsify and it just continues to really breakdown the makeup and dirt. It did leave my skin feeling soft and smoother! I think it is very gentle and a lot of people can use this. I would definitely recommend using it as a 1st step cleanser followed by a 2nd step cleanser just to get any extra oils because this is really oily!
