Decent quality

This is a decent quality oil cleanser. It had a nice strong scent but the consistency gave it one less star. It was too runny compared to other oil cleansers I've tried. It also didn't lather a little like others. Otherwise, it cleansed decently.

Liked it a lot for the most part!

This cleansing oil smells great, and it seems to work well with my skin. (I'm currently pregnant, so my skin has been a bit more sensitive than usual, even with products that haven't ever bothered me before.) I definitely noticed a difference in the appearance of my pores and overall softness of my skin after using it. However, I was admittedly a little sad because it didn't entirely remove my eye makeup (non-waterproof mascara, eyeliner, and glittery eye shadow). There were a few small smudges and glitter left over after meticulously massaging it in and rinsing, so I think it would be most effective to either use eye makeup remover or to follow it up with a foaming cleanser as part of a double-cleanse.

a very solid cleansing oil that isn't too thick and is very silky soft on the face. It takes off my stubborn waterproof mascara and I feel confident that I am getting a thorough cleanse of my face.

Smooth and Non Oily

I have never been a fan of oil cleansers, mainly because of the idea that I have of them. I always assumed that they would be oily and cause me to break out. But that is not the case I have learned. So the pros for me: I like how smooth it is. Very light weight. It's not oily. Absorbs quickly into skin. My skin feels super soft. The cons: Does not lather up. Not sure if I am getting my skin cleansed. I know it's not supposed to lather, but that for me is a good clue that it's working. But overall, I'm happy that I now know that cleansing oils do not leave your skin feeling oily!

Mixed Reviews!

I initially loved this product! But I have sensitive skin.. I was able to use this sample for 2 nights. The first night my skin felt amazing! Soft, Smooth, and just wonderful! The second night, my face was starting to burn a bit. I rinsed it off but in the morning my cheeks were red and inflamed. It went away the next day without any worries. This product is amazing and I truly recommend for non sensitive skin. Day 1 I felt like I was getting a facial and the smell was so relaxing!!

Works Great

This cleanser left my skin clean and feeling fresh. It removed all traces of makeup and pretty much cleared my skin. It didn't leave a tacky feeling behind or that tight feeling. Nor the best but it did its job and was effective.

Good product

I used this product & after using it my face became very oily. I don’t generally use oil based products for this reason but it does work, would recommend if you don’t already have very oily skin.

Good, light cleanser

I already use high end cleansers, so I didn't notice a difference after using the sample for a few days. I like the light feeling of the oil and the fact that it's different than my standard foaming and/or gel cleansers, but I didn't try it for long enough to determine if it's truly more effective than my go-to cleansers.

Refreshing

So I used this to clean my makeup off of my face. It did its job and my skin felt nourished afterwards. I would buy again and I would recommend to a friend.

Luxurious!

I received a free sample of Shu Uemura Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil from Chick Advisor in exchange for my honest review. I was very excited to finally have the chance to try this cleansing oil after seeing others rave about it on social media. After trying it for myself, I am happy to say that this cleansing oil definitely did not disappoint and it is just as great as I thought it would be. I prefer unscented products but the scent this has is one I can tolerate with no problem. This cleansing oil feels so luxurious on your skin that I just wanted to keep massaging it on my face forever! It felt so nice while I was cleaning my face and afterward my face felt smooth and soft. I would definitely recommend this cleansing oil to anyone and I will be purchasing the full size product for myself!
