Cleanses without stripping

I’ve never used a cleansing oil before this and was skeptical about using oil to properly clean my face. I had to search online for instructions on how to use properly as there weren’t any included with my sample, not sure if instructions are on the full size bottle but I am the type to read instructions and ingredients. I liked this product as it removed my makeup but didn’t dry out my skin, it felt soft and seemed to glow afterwards. I feel this would be a nice addition to a skincare routine but I don’t know about using it on daily basis, maybe 2x/week and my regular cleanser the remainder of the time.

Great cleanser oil

Love this cleansing oil, it made my skin so refresh and clean. I like that I only needed a tiny bit to do the job. It feels great on the skin and took off everything while leaving my skin feeling great.

Super expensive

It’s an expensive product. Had it been priced at an affordable rate I would change my mind. I did like how it made my skin feel soft and supple after using this product. But I can find the same result in more affordable products

Works well!

I have used my sample of this cleansing oil and first impressions is that it has a nice light texture and scent. For removing makeup I find it does a decent job and feels nice on my skin. I did find it saturates quite a lot into cotton pads and you need more product than I would like to use to remove my makeup (I don’t use anything heavy or waterproof) but it’s gentle on my skin and leaves it feeling hydrated which is a definite perk. For the price I’m not sure I would purchase it, but it is a lovely product that I’m happy to have the opportunity to use!

So Silky

This was so silky and smooth. It went on so nice and effortlessly. It did a great job at removing my make up and left my skin feeling cleansed and moisturized.

No for me

First of all the sample was too small for me to really be able to evaluate the efficacy. I found it to be very runny and hard to apply to my face. It left my skin feeling too greasy.

Nice cleansing formula

I am really happy using the Shu Uemura ultimate beyond cleansing oil to remove my makeup and dirt accumulated from day pollution on my skin, leaving my skin nourished and alive.
Its gentle and smooth fragrance is an added benefit and using the product on my skin keeps it hydrated too.

Too greasy

I used this expecting wonderful results only to breakout. It was way to greasy for me. I didn’t expect such a small sample to make my skin so adverse. Never happened with any other products.

Good overall product

I like a good cleansing oil but I think that this one is too expensive for what it is doing. As much as I like to use oil in beauty routine, this one did not impressed me.

A new staple

I absolutely love this product! It’s easily removes my makeup without leaving my skin feeling stripped. My skin is incredibly smooth after using and I love that it also moisturizes. This is definitely a new staple in my routine and I have recommended it to many friends.
