functional and soothing

I liked how nice the cleansing oil felt to get off make up and assorted dirt off my skin. it does clean away everything in a very gentle and reliable way. I normally just use aveeno cleanser so this works but is not my preferred way to cleanse.

Wonderful Cleansing Oil

I always love to try out different types of cleansers, and have always been a fan of oil cleansers. This product was great and did a wonderful job making my skin feel clean. A little seemed to go a long way, which is always nice, but I do feel that maybe the price is a little high. Either way, I thought the product was nice to use, and I would recommend it others.

Worked on my oily skin!

I was skeptical about using the Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil because my face is oily and prone to break out but I was very pleased that it actually improved my complexion. I only wish I had a bigger sample to see how it does over a longer period of time.

Not for me

Small sample received and honestly it made my skin feel greasy. I've tried many products in the past and this is one of those that I'm glad I got to try before I bought!

Works great for removing makeup and cleansing

I am very happy with the shu uemura ultime8 cleansing oil. It is a luxurious cleansing oil with 8 different essential oils. I used in the evening and it removed all my make up and fully cleansed my skin and left me with a beautiful glow. I love how gentle and effective it is.

So effective!

This cleansing is so beneficial and very effective! It instantly removed my makeup and sunscreen without any rough scrubbing even waterproof makeup! It didn't cause irritation or leave a greasy residue on my skin! I would highly recommend this cleansing oil even to those with sensitive skin!

Somewhat effective

The texture of this cleansing oil was comfortable enough to wash your face with daily. I like how it felt since my face felt fresh after using it but my skin didn’t appear “cleaner” than normal so that’s why I rate it four instead of five stars.

I love it. It really made my skin feel so clean and fresh. The scent was wonderful and this product did not dry my skin out at all. It has a nice consistency as well.

Leaves Skin Soft and Moisturized

Since this is an oil and I have never tried one before, I was thinking it may leave my skin feeling oily afterwards, but it did not. Instead, it left my skin feeling really soft and moisturized as well as thoroughly cleansed. It does have a fragrance to it but I didn't find it that strong but it may be something for others to consider who may prefer no fragrance in their products. It didn't irritate my skin at all but I have rarely ever had any skincare product irritate my skin as my skin isn't sensitive at all. I only wish the sample would have been bigger as I would have loved to see how well it works using longer term but for short-term, it met my expectations and does work very well.
