Silky cleaning

I really enjoyed how well this cleaned my skin. It foamed up once I added water and starting cleaning my skin. I was a bit hesitant about the oil being able to effectively able to clean my skin, but it did! It is a bit messy at first because it’s very thin and runny, but once you get the hang of using the oil, you may not go back.

I love how silky smooth this makes my skin. I feel cared for when my skin is not parched from over washing and this instead infuses my skin with the oils it needs. love love love...

Really lovely cleansing oil. Love that it emulsifies with water! Trialed it in my nighttime double cleanse and really enjoyed the smoothness and moisture it left after rinsing.
Not crazy about the strong fragrance, but might be passable as it will be rinsed off. For this reason, likely won't be adding it to my regular routine.
Bonus! Ingredients are malasezia/fungal acne friendly!

Gentle yet effective!

I loved the gentle scent- so relaxing! I also loved how a little went a very long way with removing makeup, dirt and pollution and it did an amazing job as the first step of cleaning my face. It didn’t dry my skin out or irritate it like some others do and was gentle on my rosacea-inflamed skin. #gotitfree Received the Ultime8 Cleansing Oil for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

Never thought of using oil on my face for cleansing, but I thought I'd give it a try. Color me pleasantly surprised at how well it cleaned my face. I have oily skin so I thought this would leave it even more oily but, I was wrong. I wear a full face of makeup everyday about medium coverage. This oil by Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil helped greatly in removing all my makeup and leaving my face clean at the same time. It has a slight floral scent but it is not overpowering in my opinion. This cleansing oil feels like a lightweight facial oil against the skin. To use, just squeeze about a quarter sized amount onto the palm and gently smooth over the entire face. Then blending it in with water to remove any dirt, grime, and/or makeup. Though this oil doesn't foam up, it does rinse clean, and did not leave my skin feeling tight, dry, or irritated. It left my skin feeling so soft and smooth after I rinsed it off. Overall, I would recommend this product.

I loved this

I haven't tried a product like this before now. I was surprised by this face wash. I really like the oil base to this and it really does cleanse the skin but it doesn't seem to strip the moisture and dry it out like so many soap cleansers do. My skin feels soft and clean. I really like this product.

A great addition to my skincare routine

Shu Uemura's Ultime8 Beyond Cleansing is great. I was a little skeptical at first, as the thought of a cleansing "oil" made me worry that my face would feel greasy and I would break out. That was not the case at all. Made from 8 essential oils, this cleanser actually feels quite luxurious on your face. I'm not sure I did it correctly, as when I added the water, it didn't get "milky" like it is supposed to, but there was a change in texture. It was really easy to apply and left my skin feeling very clean and satiny. Can't wait to try it on my makeup! I am so thankful that I got to try this, it will be a great addition to my skincare routine!

Luxe Double Cleansing Oil

Thank you very much @thisisbutterly and @chickadvisor for selecting me to try @shuuemura Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil. I got a 50 ml bottle of this luxurious beauty product for free! I was very happy to test this pampering double cleanser.
I used the Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil to cleanse my face and neck, daily for two weeks, before completing my review. This product does an amazing job cleansing and removing all traces of your day’s make up! The clear oil turns slightly milky when you add water. I found this oil to be very gentle and soothing on my sensitive skin. I had zero irritation. My skin didn’t feel tight. This product did not dry out my skin. My face was left feeling nourished and hydrated.
The fragrance is mild. To me this cleansing oil smells a bit like toasted rice. Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil is made with 8 naturally sourced botanical essentials oils, including treasured Japanese camellia oil, also known as Tsubaki flower. It also contains moisturizing squalane and ginseng.
Since this cleanser is an oil, rather than a soap, it doesn’t lather very well. This smooth oil glides easily over the skin. A little of this product goes a long way! It expertly removed my make up and left my skin feeling clean, soft and supple. It rinses off easily, and leaves behind no residue. I am comfortable using this product daily. It’s the ultimate cleanser, to use to prep your skin before applying your make up, and then again to use to remove your make up.
It’s not the most affordable cleanser, but I recommend Shu Uemura Ultime8∞ Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil to everyone looking for an exquisite and effective cleansing oil.
