Incredibly soft

I was reluctant to try an oil based product as I worry sometimes about my skins oiliness. On a day I had on full make up and waterproof eye make up I tried this cleansing oil. I loved how easily it blended on my skin without a heavy oil feeling. It emulsified quickly and I couldn’t believe how smooth and soft my skin was left feeling without a trace of make up left. Great cleanser!

Beautiful cleansing oil

Recently had the opportunity to try Shu Uemura Ultime Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil. I have never used a cleansing oil before but as I have dry skin I was excited to try this product out. A few drops of the oil from the bottle and gently massage into skin. Then add a little bit of water to emulsify and gently rinse off with water. I found that the cleansing oil did a really good job of removing my waterproof mascara and waterproof eyeliner. It left my face feeling soft and hydrated as opposed to dry and tight. The Shu Uemura Ultime Cleansing oil had a nice scent which wasn’t too strong and was easy to apply and use every night. A great product especially in the colder and drier months of winter. The only negative would be the steep price tag associated with this product.

Not very effective

I received a free sachet sample of this that contained 4ml of the cleansing oil. I assume this to be a recommended usage size. I used it to try and remove a full coverage full face makeup and it was not as effective as I had hoped. After cleansing and using a makeup wipe on my face I still had lots of makeup residue on my face, I had to cleanse again with a foaming cleansing wash.

Leave your face feeling soft and smooth

I received this product and tried it one evening after my face ritual. I followed the instruction and in the end it left my face feeling smooth, rehydrate and tingly.

Love it!

I love this cleansing oil. It smells great and leaves my skins feeling super smooth! It has a nice scent and cleanses well without any harshness on my sometimes sensitive skin.

It's OK but I got break outs.

The product was ok at some part of my skin, but I got pimples at my chin and forehead. So I guess not a good product for pimple prone skin. I hope they can make this kind of produc with salicylic acid.

Excellent makeup remover!

I received a sample from Butterly to try and I really liked it. It is very effective at removing makeup, especially mascara that is difficult to come off. Takes it all off so easily. It has a nice light scent and leaves your face feeling clean and soft. No greasy feeling afterwards. A great product!

To pricey!

Product felt nice but I could never bring myself to pay over a hundred dollars for a cleansing oil. There are much more affordable options but if budget isn’t an issue then I would recommend it.

Works good

This product was ok. I liked it, but didn't love it. It works good and if I had another free sample, I'd use it again. But I don't think I would actually go out and buy it myself.

I really love this product. As someone who has naturally oily skin, I was very skeptical, but I love it. It removes all my makeup with no problem and doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily.
